June 2023. Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Kamare Lewis has been convicted and sentenced for the savage 2020 rape and murder of Ee Lee in broad daylight with another "teen". Ee Lee was beaten and raped so violently a veteran sexual assault nurse commented she had never seen injuries so bad. Lee arrived at the hospital unconscious and partially clothed but still breathing. She died 3 days later from head injuries. There were other "teens" that observed the gang rape and watched the young Asian woman get beaten, stomped and kicked in the head. One of them even uploaded a video of the assault onto Facebook. Lewis received a plea deal for the lesser offenses of first-degree reckless homicide and second-degree sexual assault, with the previous charges of first-degree intentional homicide and first-degree sexual assault dropped. He was only sentenced to 26 years possibly because he was a 17-year-old "juvenile" when he committed the crime.
