I went to the Google Hackathon on 6th Dec that was at ALX.
I was running on a 3hrs sleep and these 3hrs were dreams about everything breaking and all lmaoo 😭.
I hate when I have something exciting or important I can’t sleep, I just keep imagining how tomorrow will look like
(Am I broken?)
I didn’t vlog the whole day, because I was trying to cook and I was drained. I fell asleep during pitching time 😅.
I will be uploading the vlog soon on YT.

I was looking at my memories from last December, I was stressing over how I can fit my whole life into a 2 suitcases and 1 backpack.
LIKE HOW ONE DOES THAT?
I loved my guitar so much, I saw one singer playing it and I thought he was hot.
So I like it, I get it. 💁♀️
(I wanted to be hot too lol)
I had to sell it because I couldn’t bring it here. And I wasn’t good at it.
I’m also grateful for my Ethiopian genes because I was so good at sports.
My only regret is not bringing my medals, because of the weight limit 💔
I need another hot hobby for the next year. Maybe sport related 😏

I can’t sleep so here’s a moon photo I took today. She is so cute.
My two favorite Arabic poems about the moon (the moon used as metaphor for a lover in Arabic literature so there are a LOT poems about the moon 🌚)
The poet here talks about how the girl he loves, her beauty rivaled the beauty of the moon so much the poet ended up seeing two moons 😭.
The moon is here used as a metaphor for dreams or anything meaningful in life. Its beauty comes not from being close or easily attainable, but from being far that we admire and aspire to reach it.
It reminds of the quote “Aim for the moon, and even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars”

Dagmawi Babi's Meetup is the first of it's kind event organized by Dagmawi Babi and his team as a thank you to all the incredible individuals, creators, event organizers, companies and communities improving and accelerating the tech and design ecosystem.

O cursed fate! It began when a foul bug, vanquished once by mine own hand, dared rise again in memory’s shadow, yet how I smote it then, the mind recalls not, and my soul trembles at its ghost.
I’m sorry it was me just being dramatic, in short I solved a bug and I forgot how to solved it after a while and I had to go through the whole thing again. 🌚

I was playing with veo (video generative model by google deepmind) to create an ad for a coffee business because I was bored.
There were 4 results but THIS THIS THIS THIS ONE got my attention.

Mama and I were talking about what if, there were coffee beans that are supernatural. Like you make drinkable coffee and then pour it on to the fire and you get coffee beans.

There’s nothing painful as going through THE HEARTBREAK AT 1 AM.
THE HEARTBREAK where you’re imagining all the fun things you could DO after finishing your work, but one accidental button click DELETES everything you have worked on for the past 4hrs and all of the credits you spent. I WANT A REFUND.
CAN WE TALK WHAT KIND OF UX THAT DOESNT ASK FOR CONFIRMATION?? HELLOO?

Is it me or does it actually start getting addicting when you start using LinkedIn (like checking the app daily)?

🫦 Claude dropped Claude coworker (idk why I think of it as cow worker, like a cow with a laptop, I’m sorry back to whatever I was saying ) after they saw ppl using Claude code for LITERALLY everything. (Like I would give it files and tell it to create something and put it in a new file).
But with Coworker 🐮 you can give it access to a folder in your laptop and home boii will read, edit, oragnize and create files. It does other cool stuff.
So we know something called CRUD, right? 🤓
Who do you think is missing from CRUD when you read what coworker does?
DELETE
And home boii doesn’t only delete what you told him, but also what didn’t you tell him. 🙂
Either through poor communication from your side or prompt injection.
💌 You don’t have to worry about your files safety for now because they’re testing with Claude Max users.
I personally can’t wait to use it.
