In 1918 - 1919 after WW1, the jews attempted a communist revolution in Germany. Communists had just overthrown the Russian monarchy, and in thd post-war instability they thought they could do the same to Germany.

They were opposed by Nationalists and veterans of the war. Many veterans indeed believed they could have held out in the war if they hadn't been betrayed on the homefront by jewish-communists who organized worker strikes while the soldiers were fighting.

Hitler and the National Socialists did not concoct the idea out of thin air that jews were a subversive fifth colum in any nation. They had a factual history of watching jews destroy Russia, subvert their workforce, and start a civil war on their own soil.
