friends, today I need to share something that is genuinely difficult for me to say.
I’ve made the decision to sell all my $KITO tokens.
this is a painful step.
I spent more than five months building this project with my team, and I truly fell in love with this narrative.
KITO wasn’t just a memecoin for me.
it was something I lived and breathed every single day.
about TON and reality
building here is incredibly hard.
people don’t value a team’s work, they only value hype and quick charts.
and it hurts to see brand new projects outperform us on day one simply because they had collers behind them, not because they had ideas, visuals or anything meaningful.
we put our soul into this.
we created all the content ourselves from scratch.
no one on the team received a single cent.
we worked because we believed in what we were building.
I personally invested a lot of my own money into $KITO
I didn’t sell even once.
I only bought more, whether the chart was at 100k or 250k.
and the saddest part is this
the chart wasn’t broken by the market or competition
it was broken by people who got in early
people who should have been the foundation of our community
they simply pressed sell and erased months of work with one move.
what happens now
I’m seriously considering a relaunch on another blockchain, somewhere our work will actually be respected.
but I need time.
I need to rethink everything.
I need to understand what direction I want to take and what goals to set next.
I’m mentally burned out
and I’m not afraid to admit it.
for those who supported us
I’m sorry to everyone who stood by us and believed in this project.
you are the real ones.
we built something special together, and I’ll always remember that.
if someone from the community wants to continue $KITO, wants to take the project under your own CTO leadership, I’m open to it.
I never held onto power.
I held onto the idea.
but personally, I don’t see a future for us on TON anymore.
this blockchain is dead when it comes to building.

i believe $KITO isn’t going anywhere. a new CTO will appear and the project will continue its path.
there’s already talk that p-san might be back, and if that’s true - the community may get the leader it has been waiting for.
as for me
i’m waiting for the dust to settle.
if the community asks, i’ll update the dexscreener data, transfer all permissions for social media and the community chat, and hand everything over properly.

Over the past weeks, we’ve tested multiple formats, adjusted variables, and modeled numerous scenarios to deliver a fair and competitive environment for MemeRepublic. However, given the current market conditions in the broader crypto ecosystem and the valuable feedback shared by our community, it’s become clear that this is an important moment to pause and reassess our approach.
We completed Week 3 as planned, but we also received credible allegations, with supporting evidence, indicating that the competition may have been gamed. To protect the integrity of the 10-week series, we are pausing the distribution of Week 3 rewards and putting MemeRepublic on hold while we review both the allegations and the competition's overall structure.
This pause will give us the opportunity to carefully assess all community input, examine the evolving landscape, and strengthen our framework to more effectively reflect the standards and expectations of our users.
Once this review is complete, we will share the updated plan

i’m not very surprised, to be honest. the problems in this ecosystem come from the core, and that’s the saddest part. the chain looked promising in the beginning, but reality turned out different.

a person who hasn’t contributed a single thing to the development of $KITO somehow thinks he has the right to open his mouth the loudest and throw around big words. where I come from, people get their tongues cut off for talking like that - and if he had even a bit of intelligence, he’d understand why.
but because of how I was raised, I choose to ignore it. responding in the same manner to someone from the lower layers of society would be lowering myself to his level, and I’m not interested in losing my self-respect.
