Russian state senate (Duma) has passed a bill which allows them to forcedly resettle people in regions which have enabled martial law. At the moment, these are Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Donetsk, Luhansk and Crimean oblasts.

A police officer raped a 14-year-old girl in a temporary detention center in St. Petersburg

The 36 year old senior lieutenant worked as an educator in the Central Military District for juvenile delinquents. Since the end of April, there was a girl there, whom the man molested for two days, and then raped. This was noticed by his colleagues.

The Lieutenant is charged under the articles "Rape", "Indecent Acts" and "Violent Acts of a Sexual Nature". He faces up to 15 years in prison.

Three scientists of the Novosibirsk Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (ITAM), who were engaged in the creation of hypersonic aircraft, were arrested by the security forces under an article, the maximum punishment for which this year became life imprisonment.
