Kim Dotcom, the mentally ill, terminally obese creator of the child pornography sharing platform Mega, tweeted a video of a crowd of Russians performing "the biggest hit in Russia right now" called "I'm Russian". In reality, it is a staged video produced by a company close to the state called Sima-Land. In fact, this year's biggest hit on the main Russian music streaming platform is a song about prostitution by Russian female rapper Instasamka. On Russia's largest social network, VK, the biggest hit is a rap song about blowjobs. The song "I'm Russian" is nowhere to be found on the top of the charts. Released in an attempt to gain popularity at the expense of the war in Ukraine in 2022, singer Shaman's song "I'm Russian" became an object of ridicule. Music magazine Afisha speculated that the views of the music video on YouTube were inflated by bots because of the low number of comments and likes at the time. Because of this song, the singer had to testify to the anti-extremism department of police that the song had nothing to do with ethnic Russian nationalism, but is about the multicultural strength of the Russian Federation.
