I think the reason why many brown people living in the West support Putin could be really simple: Russia represents a more multiracial (less White) country that has the potential to dominate a Whiter country. A lot of brown people living in western countries feel alienated, which breeds ressentiment within them.
How do I know this? Because as a non-White person, I know how they feel, I obviously don’t agree with how they think/feel, but I have a greater ability to step into their turd-world shoes and imagine how they feel. I think they see Ukraine as this representation of a Whiter, more western country — like the ones that make them feel alienated and filled with ressentiment— being (potentially) humbled and defeated by a less White country (something more relatable to them) and they love it, they love that possibility. They identify more with Russia and Putin simply because Ukraine is the Whiter country in the conflict.
Just my two cents.

I love how Ziggers are getting mad when Ukraine bans communist/leftist parties that are ALL alligned to Russia. This does put a smile on my face.
Why are they mad? Not even because those parties shilled for Russia, but because they are left. Reminder that Russia is being mostly supposed by browns and antifa, if we exclude dissident right of course.
Yet again, this isn't just muh Donetsk children. It's Right vs Left, it's white vs brown, it's West vs East. Whoever wins this war, will rule this world for 63 more years.
