The new cold war escalates: NATO's de facto think tank the Atlantic Council — one of the most influential institutions in Washington, which is funded by the US and other Western governments, NATO, the European Union, weapons corporations, and the fossil fuel industry — has published a lengthy strategy aimed at destabilizing China and trying to stop its rise.
The Atlantic Council declared China to be the "single most important challenge" to US/NATO/EU imperialism, while calling for destabilizing President Xi Jinping and demanding that Beijing continue subordinating itself to the US-led imperialist order.
