Hu Xijin just asked for journalists to be trusted and for censorship to not be abused. He also called for censorship to be handled by the publicity department which remains accountable to the Central Committee of the CPC and not by local government and other entities which might seek to mishandle this power.

Frontline media need to be trusted to carry on mission
