I'm honestly astonished, in the best way.
For a large, legacy brand, especially one with financial services like telebirr, በጣም ትልቅ risk ነው.
Memes ቀልድ ብቻ አይደሉም, they're culture, and እሱን መጠቀማቸው shows real effort to connect with customers in their language.
The results prove it worked.
የዛን ቀን ሌላ 2 post አብረው ለቀው ነበር, the meme outperformed the others by a clear margin.
That tells us everything about attention, relatability, and impact in today's marketing world.
Well done to whoever pitched and approved that post.
It's these kinds of calculated, culturally aware risks that modernize brands.
My suggestion?
Our banks and government institutions need to pay attention.
It's time to move beyond the outdated, corporate-speak content and start truly engaging the people they serve.

share and celebrate them.
