ISLE OF THE END
Not exactly what this channel is about, but certainly a taste of things to come. This was a story written as a submission to Man's World magazine last year, that obviously didn't make the cut else we wouldn't be here. After some light editing work on my end, I think I've got it just about clean enough where I'm happy with it.
A group of ex-SS soldiers, now turned to piracy after the war, gets caught between a rock and a hard place while out at sea. While in the midst of a storm, the crew finds themselves transported to a strange island full of bizarre monuments to forgotten gods, built by a dead civilization. With nothing but the primitive islanders as their guide, they're soon introduced to a world of horror and savagery. Enjoy 10 pages of big, dumb, gun toting, action packed, eldritch fun in this short story.

When you make an offering, you must offer something which has meaning, which has value. Does this then mean you must spend obscene amounts of money in order to make a worthy offering to your god? Not at all. For what is money except a physical token of spent time? What gives something meaning and value, is the energy expended on it's creation.

Incredible meditation session today. As I chanted beneath the holy rays of the Golden Charioteer, my vocalizations harmonized with the wind. Victory conditions became more clear in my mind's eye and she lead me to where I shall set her first idol. As I walked back to my vehicle, I felt her loving warmth upon me and she informed me of the path forwards. I feel the presence of curious nature spirits as well, though I doubt anything will come of this beyond curiosity.
Also I scared the shit out of some faggot urbanite when I emerged from the tree line.

After a small town in south Texas is sacked by a mysterious tribe of bandits, a group of bounty hunters sets off in hot pursuit. However, as the trail gets warmer and warmer by the mile, the scalp collectors begin to slowly realize things aren't all as they seem. Perhaps a new breed of Indian never discovered before, or perhaps something else entirely. Regardless, the gods these heathens bow in front of are entirely different to anything the men have seen, and they respect but one thing: Strength.
