Abstract

Geological archives record multiple reversals of Earth’s magnetic poles, but the global impacts of these events, if any, remain unclear. Uncertain radiocarbon calibration has limited investigation of the potential effects of the last major magnetic inversion, known as the Laschamps Excursion [41 to 42 thousand years ago (ka)]. We use ancient New Zealand kauri trees (Agathis australis) to develop a detailed record of atmospheric radiocarbon levels across the Laschamps Excursion. We precisely characterize the geomagnetic reversal and perform global chemistry-climate modeling and detailed radiocarbon dating of paleoenvironmental records to investigate impacts. We find that geomagnetic field minima ~42 ka, in combination with Grand Solar Minima, caused substantial changes in atmospheric ozone concentration and circulation, driving synchronous global climate shifts that caused major environmental changes, extinction events, and transformations in the archaeological record.

Van Tassel’s friend, Frank Critzer, was a prospector who claimed he’d found some glass lined tunnels under the rock that went deep into the ground. He’d built his strange home under the rock near the tunnels. Critzer said he often heard static coming from under the rock, and even built a radio to try to pinpoint its frequency. The year was 1942 though, and World War II was being fought overseas. Many looked at Critzer with suspicion because he was German, and thought he must be a spy. These do exist. Today's tunnel boring machines can "finish" the surface of a tunnel as it is formed. Considering the proliferation of "forbidden archeology", it's definitely possible that pre-Adamite races built them. Or even Enoch's relatives!

This is how states and empires decay and slide into the dustbin of history. When the citizenry lose faith in the state and the state has lost faith in its citizenry, then everything become theater and artifice: the pantomime of elections, the carefully curated simulacra of "free speech," (free as long as you mouth the approved narratives), the flood of absurd promises (free money for everyone forever!) that can never be fulfilled, the tiresome parade of politically expedient fake-fixes, a central bank slavishly devoted to expanding already jaw-dropping wealth and income inequality, and a political leadership so clueless they believe their pathetic strutting on stage is actually persuading the audience of their competence and sincerity.
