These kinds of films seem to focus on the negative, as defined by living a lifestyle that denotes "failure" when weighed by the world's materialistic value system.

Most of us have no clue how most of humanity lives. For them, living in a mobile home van would be like residing in a palace!

Better get used to it. We'll all be living the nomadic life sooner or later (if we're still here!).

It is more helpful to consider our current and future blessings, including absolute miracles, something the "world" knows nothing about. Yet.

Explanation: What happens if a star gets too close to a black hole? The black hole can rip it apart -- but how? It's not the high gravitational attraction itself that's the problem -- it's the difference in gravitational pull across the star that creates the destruction. In the featured animated video illustrating this disintegration, you first see a star approaching the black hole. Increasing in orbital speed, the star's outer atmosphere is ripped away during closest approach. Much of the star's atmosphere disperses into deep space, but some continues to orbit the black hole and forms an accretion disk. The animation then takes you into the accretion disk while looking toward the black hole. Including the strange visual effects of gravitational lensing, you can even see the far side of the disk. Finally, you look along one of the jets being expelled along the spin axis. Theoretical models indicate that these jets not only expel energetic gas, but create energetic neutrinos -- one of which may have been seen recently on Earth.

RARE V-SHAPED SUN HALO: You don't see this every day, especially not in Florida. On April 23rd, a pair of glowing V's appeared above the setting sun, both caused by ice crystals in the air. Dan Gore photographed them from Viera, FL:

"They lingered for about 5 minutes, then they were gone," says Gore. "It was a beautiful sight."

These are sun halos, one rare and one common. The lower 'V' is a common upper tangent arc created by sunlight shining through pencil-shaped ice crystals. The upper 'V' is a rare Parry arc created by similar kinds of ice crystals, but... To make the Parry arc, the crystals had to be horizontal, not rotate, and have two faces horizontal, too. It sounds improbable, and it is. That's why the Parry arc is so rare.

What's all this ice doing in Florida air? The crystals were located in cirrus clouds 5 to 10 km above the ground where the air is always freezing--even in Florida. Parry arcs prefer cold climates, but they can appear in the Sunshine State, too.

Black holes, they explained, have the strongest gravitational pull in the universe. They bend the path of light, pull blazing-hot plasma into orbit, and warp magnetic fields. Some shoot out powerful jets of matter at phenomenal speeds.

Data on the M87 galaxy’s supermassive black hole, which is 6.5 billion times more massive than our sun, has been collected since 2017. The first-ever image of the black hole was released on April 10, 2019, depicting a bright ring-like structure with a dark shadow at the center.

EHT project director Sheperd S. Doeleman, of the Harvard & Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, hailed the image as “something presumed to be impossible just a generation ago.”

“Before we had no idea, it was very speculative,” Younsi said, “but now we have very strong evidence to indicate how the magnetic field is organized … it is very organized, very structured, which is surprising.”
