🔹Advanced material found with zero thermal expansion that could be used in high-precision mechanical instruments, control mechanisms, aerospace components and medical implants, for environments in which stability at varying temperatures is critical
🔹A material made of scandium, aluminium, tungsten, and oxygen did not change in volume from 4 to 1400 Kelvin (-269 to 1126 °Celsius)
🔹Neutron and X-ray diffraction experiments at ANSTO were used to determine the structure of the material at a range of temperatures
Using instruments at ANSTO’s Australian Synchrotron and Australian Centre for Neutron Scattering as well as other techniques, the team led by UNSW A/Prof Neeraj Sharma, an ARC Future Fellow, demonstrated that the zero thermal expansion material made of scandium, aluminium, tungsten and oxygen did not change in volume from 4 to 1400 Kelvin (-269 to 1126 °Celsius).
Their research, published in the Chemistry of Materials, confirmed the structural stability of Sc1.5 Al0.5W3O12 with only minute changes to the bonds, position of oxygen atoms and rotations of the atom arrangements.

Zero thermal expansion, often abbreviated as ZTE, is a specific property of a material that relates to the conditions in which the material does not expand or contract in size or volume. Elementary school science curriculum teaches everyone that changes in temperature cause changes in the physical properties of materials, usually in the form of their volume or density. Materials that possess forms of ZTE are extremely rare, and the ones that do only remain in their original state in very specific and small ranges of temperature.
This makes materials with the zero thermal expansion property invaluable in specific applications where temperatures can vary significantly, such as space technology that needs to withstand both extreme heat and extreme cold.

Scientists at Australia’s University of New South Wales discovered the new material by accident while researching batteries, where they noticed its extraordinary properties.

The material itself mixes several other compounds: oxygen, aluminum, tungsten, and scandium. Its window for zero thermal expansion is huge. According to the study, the material retains its natural state almost entirely whether it is facing conditions of 4 Kelvin or 1400 K. The former calculates to over -450 degrees Fahrenheit, with the latter reaching over 2000 degrees- hotter than most lava erupting from modern volcanoes.
The researchers are currently unsure what exactly is producing this effect in the new orthorhombic material. University Professor Neeraj Sharma said that the investigation is now focused on the minutia to figure out why the material has these exceptional thermal properties.

We all have certain talents God has given us or we have been prepared “for such a time as this” during this information war and war to take this country back and ultimately the world back for freedom.
Learn from those who have been in this war for a while but also make sure you tap into what God wants you to do during this war. Some of you are information warriors who have influence and need to continue to share truths (“Air Warriors”). Some of you are “ground warriors” who need to get involved on a local level (we all need to get involved on a local level.)
Some of you can’t leave the house and are “spiritual prayer warriors” who understand the spiritual war we are in (we all need to be praying).
Find out your role. If you don’t know, ask God. “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” James 1:5
We are all different parts of the body of this movement. You have a role to play! Get in the battlefield. You are needed! You will be remembered well.

The most exciting visitor attraction concept of the 21st century has been launched. Ennoscriptd, The Giant, it features the world's tallest moving statue (35 metres/112 ft). The Giant was conceived by The Giant Company based in Dublin, Ireland; the idea was initially inspired by Jonathan Swift's Gullilver's Travels.
Supported by Enterprise Ireland and CRBRE, the concept for The Giant includes the multi-storey statue mounted on a plinth housing an exhibition. The statue will be embedded with millions of addressable LED pixels giving it the ability to instantly take the form of any person from historical figures such as Albert Einstein or (famous woman Amelia Earhart) to stars of today from Lionel Messi to Beyoncé. Each hour the Giant will transform into each country's national heroes and celebrities. The Giant's arms and head can move to a diversity of positions and the images of the men and women appearing on the statue can speak or sing.
