Children and adults around the country are getting sick as it usually happens in the winter, experts say.

The corona crisis might be over, but all over Israel adults and children are getting sick with viral infections in a phenomenon that is ➡️ unprecedented for this time of the year, ⬅️ according to several medical professionals.

“We have never seen anything like this,” said Dr. Tal Brosh, head of Infectious Disease Unit at the Samson Assuta Ashdod Hospital. “We’ve been monitoring viral infections in the hospital, which of course is just the tip of the iceberg of what is going on in the community, as for each hospitalized patient, there are many more out there. Since the spring, we have been seeing an increasing number of respiratory diseases, and since May there has been a surge in RSV cases.”

RSV, or respiratory syncytial virus, usually appears in the winter together with the influenza, and is especially serious for very young children and older, vulnerable adults.

“We usually see it disappearing in the summer, but if we consider the numbers now, it looks like winter in previous years,” said Brosh. “During the winter 2020-2021, we did not see one individual case of RSV.”

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration announced Thursday that a 1.26-pound hailstone retrieved April 28 near Hondo, west of San Antonio, is the biggest recorded in the state.

It measured 19.7 inches in circumference and 6.4 inches in diameter with a volume of 40.2 cubic inches. In comparison, a softball has a 12-inch circumference and is 3.82 inches in diameter.

Looks like there is a committee in Westminster which is still fighting for “We, the People”. This committee opposes introduction of the foul measure called Vaccine Passports.
They note that government has not made the scientific case for them.
It is true that there’s absolutely no evidence whatsoever that being forced to declare one’s vaccination status to others reduces risk.
It’s really simple: the implied or explicit purpose of VaxPass is yet another lie. Worse, such a system will give whoever controls the database & algorithms a form of medical tyranny over us all.
Imagine a world in which a phone based App was & you were required to scan it in order to enter a shop. Most people wouldn’t dispute this but they’ve been horribly brainwashed & lied to.
Now imagine your Vaxpass alerts you to an obligation to proceed within the next two weeks to a medical centre, for a 3rd jab “to protect you & your community against a new variant. If you don’t attend, your Vaxpass will lapse”
As you need a valid Vaxpass to access your own life, you have no power to resist. You’ve accepted open-ended repeated vaccination.
I out it to you that this is the end of human freedoms, forever.
Furthermore, if someone wished to harm or kill you, there’d be no more effective method to do it than this.
The same people also control all media & so almost all information you readily learn from mass media.
If they tell you that there’s a new, communicable disease which could kill millions in a particular way, and people then died in numbers in just that manner, the vast majority wouldn’t even realise that deliberate, mass depopulation was happening.
Do not allow Vaccine Passports to commence. I can see no way to halt them once up & running.
Not vaccinated? Better hurry to get yours, or you’ll be horribly restricted, eventually subject to something approaching indefinite house arrest.
This is my fear.
You might think it far fetched, and perhaps it will prove so.
But why have they lied for 15 months?
Why destroy the very foundations of the economy & civil society?
Why deny treatments?
Why keep us locked down?
Why effectively close the borders?
Why propose Vaxpass at all?
Why drop strong hints we’re soon to be locked down again?
Please share these & others warnings now & continually, why there is some time.
No one is coming to save us. Only we can do that. Yet we can’t even be persuaded to thrown away our masks.

A consultant in 2018 urged the managers to repair cracked columns and crumbling concrete. The work was finally about to get underway when the building collapsed.

Three years before the deadly collapse of the Champlain Towers South condominium complex near Miami, a consultant found alarming evidence of “major structural damage” to the concrete slab below the pool deck and “abundant” cracking and crumbling of the columns, beams and walls of the parking garage under the 13-story building.

The engineer’s report helped shape plans for a multimillion-dollar repair project that was set to get underway soon — more than two and a half years after the building managers were warned — but the building suffered a catastrophic collapse in the middle of the night on Thursday, crushing sleeping residents in a massive heap of debris.

The complex’s management association had disclosed some of the problems in the wake of the collapse, but it was not until city officials released the 2018 report late Friday that the full nature of the concrete and rebar damage — ➡️ most of it probably caused by persistent water leaks and years of exposure to the corrosive salt air along the South Florida coast ⬅️ — became chillingly apparent.

But solving the problem of water leaking down from the pool area into the garage was going to involve major work and cost millions of dollars. Brad Sohn, a lawyer representing at least one resident who has filed a lawsuit against the Champlain Towers South Condominium Association, said on Saturday that residents were facing assessments ranging from $80,000 to as high as $200,000.

Mr. Sohn said he was still trying to understand why repairs had not begun immediately after the 2018 report outlining the major problems with the building.

The building was just entering the recertification process for aging structures that have endured the punishment of coastal Florida’s hurricanes, storm surges and the corrosive salty air that can penetrate concrete and rust the rebar and steel beams inside.

At the ground level of the complex, vehicles can drive in next to a pool deck where residents would lounge in the sun. Mr. Morabito in 2018 said that the waterproofing below the pool deck and entrance drive was failing, “causing major structural damage to the concrete structural slab below these areas.”

The report added that “failure to replace the waterproofing in the near future will cause the extent of the concrete deterioration to expand exponentially.” The problem, he said, was that the waterproofing was laid on a concrete slab that was flat, not sloped in a way that would allow water to run off, an issue he called a “major error” in the original design. ⬅️ The replacement would be “extremely expensive,” he warned, and cause a major disturbance to residents.

In the parking garage, which largely sits at the bottom level of the building, part of it under the pool deck, Mr. Morabito said that there were signs of distress and fatigue.

After watching a surveillance video showing the collapse of the building, Evan Bentz, a professor at the University of Toronto and an expert in structural concrete, said that whatever had caused the collapse would have to have been somewhere near the bottom of the building, perhaps around the parking level. ⬅️

I think we can all guess why needed (expensive) repairs were delayed! In some ways, it may be cheaper to just rebuild the whole thing!

Besides all that, putting up these types of buildings with a garage below, while convenient, is just asking for trouble.
