GBS is an acquired demyelinating polyneuropathy often beginning in the lower extremities and ascending over time with loss of reflexes. Some cases start a few days or weeks after respiratory or gastrointestinal viral infection. Facial weakness is not atypical, but usually is not a predominant finding compared with severe appendicular weakness and respiratory dysfunction.

This is the mesmerizing moment more than 500 students attending a choir conference sing the national anthem in unison.

Middle and High school pupils at the Kentucky Music Educators All State Choir Conference belted out the song from the landings in front of their hotel rooms at the uniquely shaped Hyatt hotel in Louisville.

The 19-storey hotel has a lobby perfectly shaped to provide amplification and acoustics for the singing - and the results were truly amazing.

She and her family saved the lives of over 800 Jews. A neighbor turned them in. Everyone of her family members taken to camp died- except for her.

(CNN)At least 17 people were injured Wednesday evening in Los Angeles after an explosion occurred inside a police bomb squad disposal truck, officials said.

"This vessel should have been able to dispose of this material," Los Angeles Police Department Chief Michel Moore said at a news conference. ➡️ "Something happened in that containment vehicle that should not have happened and we do not know why." ⬅️

Earlier in the day, the LAPD received a call about illegal fireworks, Moore said. When officers arrived at the residence, they found commercial-grade fireworks stacked approximately 8-10 feet high. They also found improvised explosives, he said.

The explosion occurred as officers intentionally detonated the improvised devices in the truck, Moore said.
