An interesting concept: Devolution

That is, the opposite of centralized control, e.g., rule from Washington DC, the feds, and those puppet masters of the visible "leaders".

Think of the heads of local communities really answerable to the "folk" in an old fashioned Town Hall fashion.

Another thought:

It's true most people pay attention to just those matters that affect them directly: the price of gasoline to fill the tank of their vehicle, the tab they must pay to exit the grocery store with food.

So long as daily life rolls along relatively smoothly, the far away masters are left to do as they like. MSM broadcasts the approved "party line". Dissenters are censored or silenced.

The masses must be SHOWN the corruption, not simply TOLD about it.

There is still common decency. There is still a reaction of horror at revelations of abuse, cheating and all the other evils of this world.

It's a rough way to wake up, but it seems a bucket of cold water in the face is required to get the drunk to sober up and become useful!

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP), the world’s most notorious censor of free speech, has for decades used the method of making its policies intentionally vague. During its past political campaigns, for example, the central leadership would issue a decree that “rightists” and “counterrevolutionaries” were to be punished. The next lower rung of Party officials wouldn’t be told what exactly makes one a “rightist” or a “counterrevolutionary” and perhaps not even what the punishment should be. No official, however, would want to be seen as too lenient—that would carry the risk of being labeled oneself. As such, each successive level of bureaucracy would intensify its interpretation of the policy, leading to ever more extreme results. In some periods, the hysteria went far beyond self-censorship, as even refraining from political speech wasn’t enough.

Considered the architect of modern sociology, German sociologist Max Weber recommended bureaucracy as the best way for large organizations to maintain order and maximize efficiency. In his 1922 book “Economy and Society,” Weber argued that bureaucracy’s hierarchal structure and consistent processes represented the ideal way to organize all human activity. Weber also defined the essential characteristics of modern bureaucracy as follows:

A hierarchical chain of command in which the top bureaucrat has ultimate authority.

A distinct division of labor with each worker doing a specific job.

A clearly defined and understood set of organizational goals.

A clearly-written set of formal rules, which all employees agree to follow.

Job performance is judged by worker productivity.

Promotion is merit-based.

Weber warned that, if not properly controlled, bureaucracy could threaten individual freedom, locking people in a rules-based “iron cage” of control.

Parkinson’s Law is the semi-satirical adage that all “work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion.” Often applied to the expansion of an organization’s bureaucracy, the “law” is based on chemistry’s Ideal Gas Law, which states that gas will expand to fill the volume available.

The basic establishment narrative is this: “Covid is an existential threat to the public, therefore, we are justified in taking away people’s freedoms, their economy and their privacy. It is for the “greater good of the greater number”. Vaccination is infallible and cannot be questioned. The “experts” are infallible and cannot be questioned. It’s not your body and it is not your choice. Your body is property of the government and if you do not voluntarily take injections of whatever experimental cocktail we give you, then we will continue to erode your freedoms until you give in and submit. Then, once you have submitted, your freedoms will still never be given back.”

It’s not really a persuasive argument for lot of people.

The media presents the notion that no one will be “forced” to take the vaccines; but what they don’t mention is that without the vaccine they will not get a medical passport, and without a medical passport they will be cut off from the normal economy. Women in COMBAT units:

1) Not vital to America’s national security

2) Diminishes unit readiness

3) Has no basis in real-world combat outcomes

4) Degrades male performance in combat

5) Is a political gain with a national security expense

I would agree. The natural impulse of normal males is to protect women and children. A dangerous distraction in battle. Women have served in harm's way for a long time. My own mother was an Army nurse during WW2. Hospital units are often targeted. Still, women should be on the front lines only as a last resort. To train both men and women as they do in Israel is fine. That is from a defensive position.

You can be assured that normal women can fight literally tooth and nail with the ferocity of a she-bear to protect the family.

Never underestimate the righteous power to defend.

In other words, if we no longer have the right to voice concerns about COVID-19 mandates, if we no longer have the right to tell a Census Worker to get off our property, if we no longer have the right to tell a police officer to get a search warrant before they dare to walk through our door, if we no longer have the right to stand in front of the Supreme Court wearing a protest sign or approach an elected representative to share our views, if we no longer have the right to protest unjust laws or government policies by voicing our opinions in public or on social media or before a legislative body—no matter how politically incorrect or socially unacceptable those views might be—then we do not have free speech.

What we have instead is regulated, controlled speech, and that’s what those who founded America called tyranny.

On paper, we may be technically free.

In reality, however, we are only as free as a government official may allow.
