According to several journalists, those detained are held inside Nasser and Al-Aqsa hospitals, which Hamas is using as makeshift detention and interrogation sites.
Families say they have received no information about their whereabouts or condition.

— Commentary: A very stupid claim going around right now is that "Hamas is fighting historically Salafi clans, ergo, Hamas is fighting Israeli-armed ISIS!"
Let's dissect this claim with sources:
Following the Second Intifada, many Fatah-aligned clans especially in the Gaza Strip began to be disillusioned with Fatah's participation in the Oslo Accords. At the same time, many of these clans were also Salafi. Thus many Salafi groups of various radical orientations were formed.
The Mujahideen Brigades (infamous recently for the kidnapping of Kfir Bibas) were one of them but so was the Army of Islam, represented by the Doghmush clan. These formerly Fatah-aligned clans became anti-western and anti-Israel jihadists and attacked the IDF many times, they were never proxies. While the Mujahideen Brigades worked with Hamas and became more legitimized, the Army of Islam remained ragtag and more pan-Islamist. The latter has no loyalty to any foreign group and backs both Al Qaeda and ISIS.
The history of Salafism and its connection to jihad in Palestine long predates even the existence of the state of Israel and was fundamental in the current of Rashid Rida (an early Levantine Salafi), Sayyid Qutb (although not exactly a Salafi himself), and Fathi al Shiqaqi (the founder of the Islamic Jihad, although pro-Shiite and Iran).
For Hamas in particular, Saudi-educated Nizar Rayyan represented the Salafi wing of Hamas, and called for a more radical transformation of secular Palestine to an Islamic Emirate.
Here's a picture from circa December 2014 showing an Al Qassam militant holding the ISIS flag (originating from Al Qaeda in Iraq).
Salafism and Palestinian jihad are absolutely tied from the beginning, among all factions. Don't spread nonsense.

We have no knowledge of any events or clashes occurring in the Rafah area, as these are red zones under occupation control, and communication has been cut off with the remaining groups of ours there since the war resumed in March of this year.

🇵🇸- The new Gaza–Israel ceasefire may pause the rockets, but it’s far from peace…it looks more like Hamas buying time than backing down. A senior Hamas official openly admitted the group won’t disarm or relinquish control of Gaza’s security, framing the truce as a temporary phase rather than a transformation. While the deal halts large-scale combat and keeps foreign troops out, it leaves the core issue untouched: Hamas’s weapons and power structure remain intact. In reality, this “ceasefire” may be less an end to war and more a strategic reset before the next round.

The guns may be (somewhat) quiet for now, but life for Gaza’s few remaining Christians, believed to be barely a thousand people, hasn’t gotten easier. Many are still sleeping in damaged churches with little food or medicine coming in, even as the ceasefire officially holds. Both Hamas and Israel claim victory, yet neither seems to see the people caught between them. Neither side defends them. they survive by faith alone in the land where faith began. Pray for those still carrying the Cross in Gaza. ✝️

Nord-Ost: Theater Hostage Terror
On October 23, 2002, fourty Chechen jihadists seized the Dubrovka theater during a performance of the musical 'Nord-Ost', taking 912 innocent civilians hostages.
For 3 days, the militants, wired with explosives, held men, women, and children in a state of terror, threatening to blow up the entire building.
On October 26, special forces stormed the theatre, using a special gas to neutralize the terrorists. The operation broke the siege and killed the entire terrorist group. Unfortunately, 132 hostages lost their lives, due to the severe conditions of their captivity and the gas.
Islamic extremists have no regard for human life and cannot be reasoned with. The Brotherhood of Academists remembers the innocent souls lost, and we honour the courage of the special forces who carried out an impossible mission.

🇮🇱🇵🇸 - Latest, as of Oct 29: The Gaza ceasefire cracked overnight after Hamas fighters killed an Israeli soldier, prompting heavy IDF airstrikes that left over 100 dead, including women and children. By morning, Israel said the truce was back on… but trust definitely isn’t. Both sides blame each other for breaking the deal, and civilians are again paying the price.

Importance of the Step:
The draft resolution, if adopted, would grant the United States and a number of participating countries broad authorization to manage the sector and provide security in it until the end of 2027, with the possibility of extending the mission later.
Details of the Draft:
The resolution aims to reach a vote in the Security Council in the coming weeks as a prelude to deploying the first forces in Gaza by next January, according to a U.S. official.
The official emphasized that the proposed force, named the "International Security Force" (ISF), would be an "executive force, not a peacekeeping one."
The force will include units from several countries and will be established in coordination with the "Peace Council," which U.S. President Donald Trump announced he would chair.
The draft stipulates that the Peace Council will remain in place until at least the end of 2027.
Tasks and Authorization:
The international force will be tasked with securing Gaza's borders with israel and Egypt, protecting civilians and humanitarian corridors, and training a new Palestinian police force to collaborate with it in carrying out the tasks. The document also stipulates that the force will work on "stabilizing the security situation in Gaza through disarmament and destruction of the military and offensive infrastructure of non-governmental armed groups, and preventing its reconstruction." It is understood from this that the force's mandate includes disarming Hamas if it or its factions do not do so voluntarily. The draft adds that the force may take on "additional tasks as needed to support the Gaza agreement."
Transitional Phase:
The international force is scheduled to secure the sector during a transitional period in which Israel gradually withdraws from more areas in Gaza, while the Palestinian Authority conducts reforms enabling it to take over management of the sector in the long term. According to previous reports, countries including Indonesia, Azerbaijan, Egypt, and Turkey have expressed readiness to contribute troops to the operation.
Leadership and Coordination Mechanism:
The force will be deployed under "unified leadership agreed upon by the Peace Council," with its operations "implemented in consultation and close cooperation with Egypt and israel." The draft grants it authority to "use all necessary means to carry out its mandate in accordance with international law, including international humanitarian law."
Management of Gaza and Reconstruction:
The draft also calls for empowering the Peace Council to act as a "transitional governance authority" that sets priorities and coordinates funding for Gaza's reconstruction, until the Palestinian Authority completes the required reform program and obtains the Council's approval. The Council will oversee a "non-political Palestinian technocratic committee composed of sector residents, which will manage daily affairs and civil services." The U.S. official clarified that the Peace Council will begin its work before the technocratic committee is formed. The draft further stipulates that aid will be provided through organizations cooperating with the Peace Council, including the United Nations, the Red Cross, and the Red Crescent, with a ban on any entity proven to have misused aid or diverted it from its path.

⚡️🇪🇬🇶🇦🇹🇷🇵🇸🇺🇸🇮🇱 Sources have revealed to Sky News Arabia that meetings held yesterday in Cairo, attended by delegations from Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, and the United States, discussed a proposal that would allow Hamas militants in Gaza to temporarily retain their light weapons.
The proposal stipulates that Hamas would later hand over these weapons to a security force expected to deploy in the Gaza Strip.
The sources also indicated that discussions are underway regarding the possibility of integrating several activists, who are not affiliated with Hamas, into the new security force slated for deployment in Gaza.
