Amalie war eine berühmte Riesin, auch bekannt als Beleza Alemã. Sie ist bekannt durch ter feito, eine Arbeit für Barnum und Bailey Circus aus dem Jahr 1890. Anscheinend ist sie 2,70 Meter groß, also hat sie vielleicht auch Hochsprung benutzt, weil sie auf diesem Foto älter aussieht. . .
