The manufactured energy crisis and the oil nationalization two-step
Blood rack, barbed wire Politicians' funeral pyre Innocents raped with napalm fire Twenty-first century schizoid man King Crimson, "21st Century Schizoid Man" You've all heard me rant about the "Straussian Two-Step," which is nothing more than a retread of the Hegelian Dialectic. Here's the formal definition: An interpretive method, originally used to relate specific entities or events to the absolute idea, in which some assertible proposition (thesis ) is necessarily opposed by an equally assertible and apparently contradictory proposition (antithesis ), the mutual contradiction being reconciled on a higher level of truth by a third proposition (synthesis ). In modern politics it's used to create a false reality by asserting something that is partially true (at best) or a truth that you yourself as a person in power created. In today's case it's a manufactured energy crisis across the West.

Pronouns in your resume? Shred that thing.
Ah yes, pronouns in your resume - the dead giveaway you're a snowflake that screams "I AM SPESHUL". It's also a great way to introduce yourself as the person who will end up being an albatross around the neck of a company because it shows you're exactly the kind of person who neither values money, tact or diplomacy. It also shows you're exactly the kind of potential employee who overshares their politics to the point where you'd pick fights with any person who so much as disagrees with you in the slightest, be they fellow employees, managers and over the most trivial nonsense. And you know who has to clean that mess up? Human Resources.

Georgia won't be blue in 2022: No 'ZuckBucks' is why
Georgia received more funding from the Center for Tech and Civic Life than any other state in 2020, but now such private funding is banned. Election analysts who are attempting to predict the results of Georgia's 2022 midterm elections by scrutinizing polls and analyzing historical trends are missing the elephant that is no longer in the room. The Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL) will not be participating in the 2022 Georgia midterms. Georgia SB 202, signed into law on March 5, 2021, prohibits Georgia election officials from accepting private election funding, which was the basis of CTCL's notorious $330 million grant program under the guise of the Covid-19 "emergency" known as "Zuckbucks." CTCL spent $45 million building up an industrial-scale voter turnout machine for Democrats run through the election offices of counties in the greater Atlanta metro area and a handful of other deep blue Georgia counties during 2020.

According to the Sun, a mother of three said "It's horrific. As a victim of sexual abuse myself, the whole thing is triggering. I came here with my kids because I thought it was a safe place and to find out there was a pedophile living a few doors away for months is just horrendous."

Official claims Kiev preparing plan to evacuate 3 million people
Authorities in Ukraine's capital city, Kiev, are reportedly working on a contingency plan that anticipates the evacuation of approximately three million of its remaining residents, should power supply become completely cut off, a local official has told The New York Times. The article published on Saturday quoted Roman Tkachuk, the director of security for the Kiev municipal government, as having warned that the city "may lose our entire electricity system," if Russia continues striking Ukrainian energy infrastructure. According to the report, Kiev authorities expect that, if worse comes to worst, they would have at least 12 hours' notice before the grid collapses completely. Tkachuk explained that if there are signs of imminent failure, "we will start informing people and requesting them to leave."

Legal loophole allows transgender criminals to hide past convictions, including when working with children
Transgender criminals could exploit a 'loophole' by withholding their birth name to hide previous convictions when applying to work with children. People who don't identify as the gender they were assigned at birth are able to withhold their previous name and their biological sex when applying for jobs in settings like schools, nurseries and hospitals. Transgender people, unlike others who have changed their names, have to personally notify officials of their past identities, a report by Keep Prisons Single Sex has found. While they are still legally required to inform the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) of their current and previous identities, the report author has told the Telegraph that it 'destroys confidence in the system' by putting the onus on the individual.

Central Banks are buying gold at the fastest pace in 55 years
Central banks globally have been accumulating gold reserves at a furious pace last seen 55 years ago when the U.S. dollar was still backed by gold. According to the World Gold Council (WGC), central banks bought a record 399 tonnes of gold worth around $20 billion in the third quarter of 2022, with global demand for the precious metal back to pre-pandemic levels. Retail demand by jewelers and buyers of gold bars and coins was also strong, the WGC said in its latest quarterly report. WGC says that the world's gold demand amounted to 1,181 tonnes in the September quarter, good for 28% Y/Y growth. WGC says among the largest buyers were the central banks of Turkey, Uzbekistan, Qatar and India, though other central banks also bought a substantial amount of gold but did not publicly report their purchases. The Central Bank of Turkey remains the largest reported gold buyer this year, adding 31 tonnes in Q3 to bring its total gold reserves to 489 tonnes. The Central Bank of Uzbekistan...

Ukrainian First Lady Zelenska ordered The Grayzone to be banned from Web Summit event
Irish media and sources close to Web Summit's CEO confirm The Grayzone was banned from the gathering as the result of a personal campaign waged by Olena Zelenska, the wife of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The Grayzone was disinvited from Web Summit, a tech industry mega-event in Lisbon, Portugal this November, following a personal lobbying campaign spearheaded by Ukrainian First Lady Olena Zelenska. Zelenska was the surprise keynote speaker at Web Summit, addressing conference attendees on November 1. This outlet learned of Zelenska's role in our cancellation from several sources close to Web Summit CEO Paddy Cosgrave. U.S. Covid response taken over by National Security Council in March 2020 to impose pre-prepared lockdown plan, evidence shows
In previous articles I discussed the probability that Deborah Birx, the White House Coronavirus Task Force Coordinator, was not a representative of the public health agencies but, rather, was appointed by the National Security Council. I now have proof that this was, indeed, the case. I have also uncovered documents that show: As of March 13th 2020 the National Security Council (NSC) was officially in charge of the U.S. Government's Covid policy.Starting on March 18th 2020 the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was officially in charge of the U.S. Government's Covid response. On March 11th 2020, at a Heritage Foundation Talk, Trump's National Security Advisor, Robert O'Brien when discussing what the White House and NSC were doing about the virus, confirmed that the Covid Task Force Coordinator was brought in by the NSC. He said: We brought into the White House Debi Birx, a fantastic physician and ambassador from the State...

UK egg shortage caused by supermarkets refusing to pay production price, farmers warn shortages will worsen
The UK is experiencing a shortage of eggs and the situation is only getting worse, it has been claimed. Shoppers are already seeing empty shelves as avian flu continues to hit the 'broken' egg market. Comment: As we'll see further below this is only part of the story, because, according to one egg farmer, supermarkets are refusing to pay the production price for eggs - which have been hit by soaring feed and fuel costs - and, in turn, farmers can't afford to sell them without making a loss. Signs seen in Sainsbury's and Wetherspoons report supply problems, and some shoppers in Aldi have also struggled to pick up their favourite dozen. According to two suppliers, the shortage stretches up and down the country. John Moore, from Knowl End Farm, in Todmorden, said: "There are massive issues. There is a very big shortage of eggs and supermarkets and suppliers are short of eggs which is forcing the price up and up and up. The cost of an egg is twice what it was six months ago and it will...

SOTT FOCUS: NewsReal: What's the REAL Reason For West-Russia War Over Ukraine?
They say it's for protecting Ukraine from Russian invasion, and that even if Putin 'gets what he wants' from there, 'standing up for Ukraine' is 'just the right thing to do'. Obviously, this reason is not credible, coming as it does from people who destroyed Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Syria. There are always REAL reasons - usually Big Money ones - behind the propaganda narratives. So, in Ukraine's case, what is it that impels NATO countries to send their entire military arsenals to Ukraine, plunge their economies into economic despair and energy blackouts, and risk permanently upending global stability? In the first hour of this NewsReal, Joe and Niall come up with a 'big picture answer'. The second hour covers the upcoming US Mid-Term Elections (will Trump-backed candidates win 'bigly', or will the Democratic Party pull off another 'miraculous' victory?), and the bizarre incident involving the Speaker of the House's elderly husband, a hammer, and a strange friend - who the media...

Russian spy chief weighs in on Truss' alleged 'It's done' text
The head of Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) Sergey Naryshkin says he has "indirect confirmation" that the message reading "It's done" that then-UK PM Liz Truss allegedly sent to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken was about the sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipelines. During his brief interview with Rossiya 1 channel on Sunday, Naryshkin was asked whether Russian intelligence believed there were "ample grounds" to link Truss' text message to the explosions at the bottom of the Baltic Sea in late September, in which three out of four lines of the Nord Stream were damaged. "I only have indirect confirmation that all this has grounds under it," the spy chief responded. In late October, Russia's defense ministry openly blamed the UK for being involved in the sabotage of the pipelines, which carried Russian gas to Europe through Germany. According to the ministry, "British specialists" from the Royal Navy, based in the Ukrainian city of Ochakov, "took part in planning,...

Coast Guard offering 'unheard of' $50K signing bonuses as vaccine mandates causing critical staff shortages
The U.S. Coast Guard is offering up to $50,000 signing bonuses in an effort to bolster recruitment, after the number of guardsmen has plummeted, in large part due to the military's strict COVID-19 vaccination mandate. According to internal USCG documents obtained by Fox News Digital from October detailing fiscal year 2023 workforce planning, "Culinary Specialist," or "CS," level recruits could receive bonuses up to $50,000 each. Active-duty Coast Guard Lt. Chad Coppin called the $50,000 CS-level bonuses, which would involve positions such as cooks, "absolutely unheard of."

Saving the world with lithium? Four times a week an e-bike battery catches fire in New York
More deadly than man-made climate change Six people have died in New York this year so far due to house fires started by e-bikes. I had no idea. Fires from exploding e-bike batteries multiply in NYC — sometimes fatally Matthew Schuerman, NPR NEW YORK — Four times a week on average, an e-bike or e-scooter battery catches fire in New York City. These bikes when they fail, they fail like a blowtorch," said Dan Flynn, the chief fire marshal at the New York Fire Department. "We've seen incidents where people have described them as explosive — incidents where they actually have so much power, they're actually blowing walls down in between rooms and apartments." As of Friday, the FDNY investigated 174 battery fires, putting 2022 on track to double the number of fires that occurred last year (104) and quadruple the number from 2020 (44). So far this year, six people have died in e-bike-related fires and 93 people were injured, up from four deaths and 79 injuries last year. In early August,...

Mouth cancer causes grow as cases skyrocket in UK, HPV now a major concern
Cases of mouth cancer in the UK have increased by more than one-third in the last decade to hit a record high, according to a new report. The number of cases has more than doubled within the last generation and previous common causes like smoking and drinking are being added to by other lifestyle factors. Comment: Except the number of people who smoke is at a record low, so clearly smoking isn't to blame. According to the Oral Health Foundation, 8,864 people in the UK were diagnosed with the disease last year - up 36 per cent on a decade ago, with 3,034 people losing their life to it within the year. This is an increase in deaths of 40 per cent in the last 10 years, and a 20-per-cent rise in the last five.

Religion without Belief: Is it possible?
Can you be religious without believing? A Christian without affirming the central dogmas? It is a timely question, especially since there seem to be many people who, faced with a world gone bonkers, are reconsidering their ideas about faith, spiritual questions, and metaphysical stances. And it is a question that has been recently discussed in a very insightful conversation between Rupert Sheldrake, Philip Goff, and Paul Kingsnorth, which I recommend. It seems to me we desperately need to make a distinction here: between propositional belief and faith in the unseen world.

Paul Singer of hedge-fund giant Elliott warns looming hyperinflation could lead to 'global societal collapse'
Elliott contends markets have not fallen far enough and the world is hurtling toward the worst financial crisis since World War II "Investors should not assume they have 'seen everything.' " That's executives at leading hedge-fund firm Elliott Management Corp. warning that the world is heading toward the worst financial crisis since World War II. In a letter sent to investors, and reportedly seen by the Financial Times, the Florida-headquartered firm told clients that it believes the global economy is in an "extremely challenging" situation that could lead to hyperinflation. Elliott did not respond to MarketWatch's request for comment. The firm, led by billionaire Paul Singer and Jonathan Pollock, told its clients that "investors should not assume they have 'seen everything' " because they have been through the peaks and troughs of the 1987 crash, the dot-com boom and bust, the 2008 global financial crisis, and previous bear and bull markets.

SOTT FOCUS: Wot's in the Shots?
Graphene oxide? Nanobots? What is in the Pfizer vaccines? Recently, Dr David Nixon, a Brisbane GP, decided to find out, putting droplets of vaccine and the blood of vaccinated patients under a dark-field microscope. That's a more radical decision than it might sound. According to Sasha Latypova, a scientist with 25 years of experience in clinical trials for pharmaceutical companies, the contract between Pfizer and the US government prohibits independent researchers from studying the vaccines. They claim it would 'divert' these precious resources away from their intended use fulfilling an 'urgent' need. Is that true in Australia? Who knows? All the Commonwealth Department of Health has said about its contract with Pfizer is that it is commercial-in-confidence.

Norwegian man now identifies as a disabled woman, uses wheelchair "almost all the time"
A man in Norway is sparking outrage on social media after he was sympathetically interviewed about his decision to begin identifying as a disabled woman. On October 28, Good Morning Norway (God Morgen Norge, GMN) aired an interview with Jørund Viktoria Alme, 53, an able-bodied male who now identifies as a disabled woman. In the interview, Alme stated that he had always wished he had been born a woman who was paralyzed from the waist down. Alme, a senior credit analyst for Handelsbanken in Oslo, has received positive coverage in Norwegian media since he first announced his trans-disability publicly on Facebook in 2020. He has given several interviews, often alongside his wife, Agnes Mjålseth. Despite having no physical handicaps, Alme currently utilizes a wheelchair "almost all the time."
