We've got friends Zoya and Misha who run a YT-channel "Expats".

They make the videos of a great practical value for us - for instance, some everyday issues which are hard to solve in Georgia.

One of the latest videos is called "The Georgian life of creative people". It explains how to spend free time (find an exciting quest or an educational history game), where to order the decor for a family party or a business event, where to find a Russian speaking tailor to fix or to adjust clothes.

📚For our next literature discussion we picked up the book by Daphne Du Maurier "Rebecca".📚

This book was given an Anthony Award and called the best detective novel of the XX century. (!)

Written in 1938, the novel has had 14 film adaptations. The one by Alfred Hitchcock is considered the best. Though I personally enjoyed the latest film of 2020 starring Lily James (in the photo).

Don't be misled by the noscript. It's not a romantic love story. It's a brilliant example of a detective.

A real page-turner! It won't let you go up to the last paragraph.
That's what happened to me. I finished it in 3 days.

We were deeply saddened by the latest cancellation of the club. So we decided to introduce a new format.

SPEAKING CLUB ONLINE.

The meeting will take place in zoom. You will find yourself in a room with 1-2 people.
Once in about  30 min you will get an invitation to change the room. You are free to accept it or decline.

To make you conversations more variable from time to time you will get some controversial/interesting/funny questions to discuss in your room.
