One terrorist scumbag cries and begs for "negotiations" before the international audience, whilst his fellow terrorist cohorts shell beautiful Ukrainian cities with rockets aimed at civilians. A murderer is a murderer, when he yells "it's not my fault! I am forced to do this!" while trying to ensure the deaths of thousands of people he believes should not live and bring as much suffering as possible. Hundreds persecuted and tortured, thousands unjustifiably "filtered", jailed and deported, millions left without a place they called home. There can't be negotiations with terrorists. Look at where forgiveness and forgetfulness got us.
