During its PlayStation 5 Showcase today, Sony finally detailed the release date and price for the PS5 at the end of the show. As announced by Sony, the PS5 will launch on November 12, 2020 in select regions (US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea), followed by November 19 worldwide, with the Digital Edition of the system retailing for $399, and the standard version of the system with a disc drive coming in at $499.
