Allegedly Russian soldiers wearing Ukrainian uniforms attempted to infiltrate Ukrainian positions
USSR, North Korea, Japan, China.
What are some qualities all these countries have in common, that free nations do not? In terms of ways they keep their people down.
They don't allow them to arm themselves.
They don't allow for freedom of speech.
They control media opinions.
They call certain groups of people the reason for everything bad that happens.
They have controlled elections.
They use the police to silence speech.
And so on.
When these things start happening to a country, or in a country, what's usually the next step? It's been seen multiple times by every dictatorship I've mentioned.
The dictatorship will often try to take these rights from people by force, taking their weapons, taking their homes, taking their speech, taking their right to choose the leader, and they start targeting those groups. For Putin, it's Ukrainians.
Why are people targeted, you may ask? They're viewed as a threat to the regime.
Putin views Ukraine as a threat to his power.
So, he wants to silence any potential support for Ukraine, prevent people from defending themselves against him if they support Ukraine, and he wants to erase Ukrainians.
It's why he unleashed a blitzkrieg style attack on Ukraine in February 2022. This is not a simple territorial annexation, this is an attempt at forming a new dictatorship. Or, rebuilding an old one. His advisors had already stated they plan on going further if they took Ukraine.
So, this fight is not only about Ukraine. It's to prevent the Soviet Union from ever having a chance to rise up again.
Take that as you will, and do realize I'm not the only one abroad who's silenced for telling people these things. People like Putin hate those who advocate for freedom, and, as shown right here, they attempt to shut us down and call us Nazis. We just don't want to be subjected to the same dictatorship which tormented our people for years, and caused families like mine to leave when they heard Russia was being aggressive again.
Slava Ukraini, Freedom Forever.
