FYI: CFD was supposed to be signed to a major label but declined. This is the reason that JEW was signed instead. Apparently JEW played shows with CFD early on and were totally enamored with their sound/style they decided to rip them off. I used to converse with the owner of a record store in Denver. This was the guy who put out the first CFD LP. Needless to say he wasn’t a big fan of JEW.
