Food For Thought 💭
There are currently about 3 billion internet users in the world. Of those, about 1.5 billion live in countries with high levels of internet censorship.
dVPN has the potential to provide a way for these people to access the internet without having to worry about being censored or monitored.
How do you think the decentralized infrastructure can work for the benefit of free speech? We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments 🙏

As we get closer to dVPN (decentralized VPN) — it is important to talk about data sovereignty.
#Web3 was conceptualized on the idea of data sovereignty — the belief that individuals own their data, and they should be in control of how it is used.
This means that individuals should be able to give their data to whomever they want, and they should be able to take it back when they want.
It also means that individuals should know where their data is at all times, and they should have the ability to delete it if they choose.
In the traditional web, these ideas are not always respected. Personal data is often collected without the individual’s knowledge or consent, and it is stored in central databases that are controlled by corporations or governments.
This centralized model gives these entities a great deal of power over individuals, and it limits their ability to control their own data.
Thoughts? Leave them down 👇 😊

We thank all of the members of our community who believe in the long-term viability of $SNE.
Do not be shaken up by the current downturn in crypto — remember, economic cycles are a natural occurrence.
In bear markets, investors can buy low and position themselves for the next bull run.
This is why we continue to advocate for long-term thinking and remind our community that $SNE is built for the long term.
You are not just holding on to a token, you are holding on to an idea. The idea that the web can be fairer forever and fairer for everyone 🚀 🌙

Crypto might have seen several bear markets in the past — but it has never really experienced going through a full-scale recession; so can it survive?
The short answer is yes, absolutely.
The speculation among traders is that when interest rates are hiked to combat inflation, the value of crypto and other digital assets will drop as investors move their money into more traditional investments.
But history has shown that crypto can actually thrive in periods of economic turmoil.
During the 2008 financial crisis, for example, the price of gold skyrocketed as investors turned to the precious metal as a safe haven from the collapsing stock market.
Bitcoin followed a similar trend, with its price rising from around $100 in October 2013 to over $1,000 by December of that year.
Well-thought-out utilities will outlive any recession, if anything harsh economic conditions will weed out potential rug-pulls and leave only the most committed and utility-driven projects.
So in other terms ----> 🚀 🌙

Is your privacy really safe with centralized VPNs?
The short answer is: no.
The laws of different countries allow different levels of data protection and privacy, so it's important to know where your VPN provider is based.
If it's based in a country with lax data protection laws, then your data isn't as safe as it could be.
Of course, a decentralized VPN would eliminate the need to navigate the mire of international data privacy laws ✅
What VPN do you guys use? Do you feel your data is truly protected? Let us know 👇

Fears of sentient #AI have been rekindled because of recent news of Google's #LAMDA gaining self-awareness.
But there is a more immediate threat in the world of AI - bias.
Bias is one of the biggest problems in Big Data, but edge computing can present some interesting fixes.
First of all, edge computing can help to reduce the amount of data that needs to be sent to the central data center. This can help to reduce the amount of data bias since the data that is sent is more likely to be representative of the entire dataset.
Edge computing can also help to reduce the amount of time that it takes for data to be processed. This can help to reduce the amount of bias that is introduced by the time it takes for data to be processed.
Can projects like StrongNode prevent the rise of the machines? Let us know 👇
