🇪🇭-🇪🇸 El Guerguerat: The Spanish Youth Council condemns Moroccan violation of ceasefire agreement
The Spanish Youth Council (CJE) condemned Morocco's recurrent violations of the ceasefire agreement, which led to armed clashes in the region between the Moroccan occupying forces and the Saharawi liberation army , calling for an end to the mobilization of Moroccan army troops near the illegal breach of El Guerguerat.
The ECJ called on the international community to guarantee the rights of the Saharawi people in the completion of the decolonization process of Western Sahara occupied territories in accordance with relevant UN resolutions, affirming its full support to the Saharawi people and their struggle conducted for 45 years to recover its freedom and independence, the statement added.

🇪🇭- Moroccan assault on El-Guerguerat: Thousands of volunteers join Sahrawi army
Thousands of Sahrawi volunteers, in particular students and women joined the ranks of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (APLS), in order to contribute to "winning the battle of liberation and regain national sovereignty," the commander of the Shaheed El-Wali Mustafa Al-Sayed military school said on Tuesday.
Swilek Daydi told APS that "since the violation by the Moroccan occupation of the ceasefire agreement in El-Guerguerat and the statement by Brahim Ghali, President of the Sahrawi Republic, Chief of the Armed Forces ending cease-fire commitment signed between the Polisario Front and the Kingdom of Morocco under the aegis of the UN in 1991, thousands of young Sahrawi volunteers have joined the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army to win the liberation battle and regain national sovereignty."
The same military official added that the young volunteers are mainly composed of "students, journalists, traders and artisans" as well as "doctors and nurses."
Stressing that the services of the Ministry of Communities "have also received hundreds of requests from Sahrawi young people living abroad to join the Army," the same official considered that this "reflects the spirit of duty and responsibility towards homeland and the people, in the battle for the recovery of national independence, whether by the residents of camps, liberated and occupied territories, or members of the community."
The conditions imposed by the Coronavirus pandemic which has affected most of the countries have prevented young people from the Sahrawi community abroad from reaching the country.
