The Lebanese Army Command announced that a number of citizens had received friendship requests and messages via Facebook in the name of "Mossad" belonging to the Israeli enemy intelligence service, including invitations to join and communicate with it.

In a statement, the army command warned the citizens of the consequences of being dragged behind these attempts, calling for not to be drawn into and to respond to these requests at risk of legal prosecution.
