Some of 'em (not spoilers or didn't read the book , just how my brain runs while watching so no worries lol )


1. Simulation / Mind Experiment

Okay, hear me out what if the silos don’t even exist? Like, the whole thing is just one massive Black Mirror experiment. The screens, the fake rules, the ‘outside’ being deadly it’s basically giving Matrix vibes. Imagine Season 3 pulls the rug and boom, none of it was real😭


2. Population Control

I think the silos are less about survival and more about… math. Earth was overcrowded, so instead of saving everyone, they built silos to quietly keep humanity on a leash. The rules, the birth lotteries, the strict control it’s not protection, it’s regulation. Like a giant dystopian version of a traffic light, but for people.


3. Another Planet 🌍➡️🪐

What if they’re not even on Earth anymore? Maybe humanity dipped a long time ago and built silos on some other planet. The whole ‘outside is deadly’ story is just to keep people from exploring and finding out. Picture the reveal: Juliette steps outside in Season 3 and instead of ruins of Earth… boom alien sky, double moons. That’d be insane.
