The biggest mistake I made this year was paying for the visa appointment and SEVIS fee, thinking I could secure an expedited appointment. Guess what , all the money is gone now, and my I-20 has expired.😭

The USA embassy used to offer expedited visa appointment dates for students. You would pay the required fees and secure your appointment at any time. After that, you could request an expedited appointment through your application portal, with only one opportunity to do so. I was confident they would grant it this time, as they had before, but unfortunately, they informed me that it wasn't possible this time. If you are considering applying, be carful before making any payments...I wish I didn’t pay for sevis feee

I dress in a way that feels like normal or call it carefree
So you can see me beyond the cloth I wear. ☺️
Don’t ask me what “normal” means philosophically,
For I know it’s a shifting concept,
A fleeting idea that changes with the light. 🤷♀️
I choose to appear indifferent,
To let you glimpse the essence of who I am,
Not defined by possessions or appearances.
I try to sound smart, hoping to impress,
Yet you remind me that wisdom is vast, 😪
And knowing is a journey, not a destination.
You say it’s beautiful when people are them selves ,
So I try to be myself—
The self I’m still discovering,
The self filled with questions and doubts,
Yearning for release from unnecessary thoughts .....
But then you say you don’t like it.
Didn’t you just say we should be ourselves?
But in my quest for authenticity,
I find myself lost in your expectations,
Changing my voice, my style, my essence,
All to fit a mold that doesn’t feel right.
In the end, the self I seek slips away,
Drowned in the desire for approval and acceptance.
So here I stand, longing for the truth of me,
The raw, unfiltered version of my spirit,
Yet caught in the web of how I’m perceived—
And wondering if the self I chase will ever be enough.🤔
