I used to think shooting stars were these rare, magical things you’d see when you were with someone you love like some movie moment. But last night, I was outside, saw one, and my brain went: ‘Wait… are these things even real? How do they move? How fast are they??’ So, ofc, I did my little reading session… and BOOM, turns out they’re just space rocks burning up in the atmosphere.🤯

So yeah, shooting stars are actually meteors tiny bits of rock or dust from space that enter Earth’s atmosphere super fast, heat up, and glow before they burn up. If a big one survives and hits the ground, it’s called a meteorite.
