Why are we doing this?

Since 2021, SubQuery has been shaping how developers access blockchain data. Hermes is the next step in our mission to unlock intelligence in blockchain data - connecting AI agents directly to Web3’s data layer via GraphQL, and removing the cost and latency barriers that hold AI adoption back.

By combining SubQuery’s data expertise with Bittensor’s incentive model, we’re enabling AI agents to continuously improve and deliver faster, smarter blockchain experiences.

We launched Hermes.
The SubQuery Network entered Era 101.

No resets. No slowdown.

Since February 2021, we’ve been on a journey to make blockchain data not just accessible, but meaningful - turning raw data into insights that developers, teams, and AI agents can actually use.

Over the years, we’ve watched the ecosystem grow, faced challenges, celebrated breakthroughs, and learned countless lessons along the way.

From launching the $SQT token in 2024 to most recently, launching our Bittensor Hermes Subnet- the milestones have been huge and we couldn't be prouder.

Five years in, and we’re more inspired than ever.

The work we do isn’t just about indexing data; it’s about building the foundation for the next wave of blockchain innovation.
