Allah, forgive me, my parents, the believing men and women, the Muslim men and women, the living and the dead.
*HOW CAN I RID MYSELF OF LAZINESS*

Laziness is one of the greatest obstacles to attaining success and achievement in this world and the hereafter, and it is one of the most fatal psychological illnesses; it weakens resolve and prevents one from taking steps to do beneficial actions. Hence the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) often used to seek refuge with Allah from it.

It was narrated from ‘Aa’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to say:

Allahumma inni a‘oodhu bika min al-kasali wa’l-harami wa’l-ma’thami wa’l-maghrami, wa min fitnat il-qabri wa ‘adhaab al-qabri, wa min fitnat in-naari wa’adhaab in-naar, wa min sharri fitnat il-ghina, wa a‘oodhu bika min fitnat il-faqri wa a‘oodhu bika min fitnat il-maseeh id-dajjaal.

Meaning :

(O Allah, I seek refuge with You from laziness and old age, from sin and debt, from the trial of the grave and the punishment of the grave, from the trial of the Fire and the punishment of the Fire, and from the evil of the trial of wealth; I seek refuge with You from the trial of poverty, and I seek refuge with You from the trial of the Dajjal…) Narrated by al-Bukhaari (6368) and Muslim (589).
Al-Rabi’ bin Khathim used to say in his supplication: I complain to you about a need that no one can express except to you.
How Islam Deals with Sadness???

Allāh ﷻ knows best for his creation. Allāh can feel our sorrows. Pain and can see our tears. Allāh has the best command on human psyche. When we put our matters on Allāh. The pain definitely subsides.

Allāh is the only one who give relief to broken hearts and shattered souls.
Allāh says in Qur'an.

"If Allāh helps you. None can overcome you; And if Allāh forsakes you. Who is there after Allāh that can help you??? And in Allāh (Alone) let believers put their trust.”

{ 📖 Q.S Ali - Imran | 3:160 }
Supplicating to Allah Almighty and beseeching him by the Qur'an
Question:

Is it permissible for someone to say in his supplication: I ask You every name that belongs to you: what you have named yourself with or what you have mentioned in the Qur'an And then to add after that: And make for me through the Qur'an spaciousness after constraint, an opening after difficulty, and a way out after hardship?
Answer:

There is no harm in this supplication because it has been mentioned in an authentic Hadith recorded by Ahmad and others, and there is no harm in what was mentioned after it, because the Qur'an is Allah's speech. He Almighty has made it a cure, a means of guidance, and a mercy.

O Allah, O Changer of conditions, change my condition to the best condition, and provide me with what You know is best for me from the fortunes of this world, and turn away from me everything that is bad for me, for You are capable of all things.
O Allah, make me one of Your servants whom You have favored with Your mercy, forgiveness, pleasure, help, kindness, and guidance. Make Your universe subservient to me and make the means of living easy for me on Your land.

The hour of answer the day of Friday

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said while talking about the merits of Friday, "There is a time on Friday at which a Muslim, while he (or she) is performing Salat and is supplicating, will be granted whatever he (or she) is supplicating for." And he (ﷺ) pointed with his hand to indicate that this period of time is very short.

Some Answered Supplications of The Most Righteous Among Humankind

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Prophet Adam – peace be upon him

Allah, The Most High, said that Adam and Hawwaa -peace be upon them- said:

[رَبَّنَا ظَلَمۡنَآ أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمۡ تَغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَتَرۡحَمۡنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡخَـٰسِرِينَ – Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers]- Meaning: Indeed, we committed the sin You forbade us from committing; we have harmed ourselves by committing the sin and have fallen into that which is a cause of loss unless you forgive us, wipe away the consequences of the sin and the punishment attached to it; grant us mercy by accepting our repentance and [free us from the calamity, harms etc] of the likes of these mistakes. So, Allah forgave them just as Allaah stated:

وَعَصَىٰٓ ءَادَمُ رَبَّهُ ۥ فَغَوَىٰ
ثُمَّ ٱجۡتَبَـٰهُ رَبُّهُ ۥ فَتَابَ عَلَيۡهِ وَهَدَىٰ

Thus did Adam disobey his Lord, so he went astray. Then his Lord chose him, and turned to him with forgiveness, and gave him guidance. [Taa Haa. 21-22]

Adam attained success through five matters: acknowledgement of his sin, showed regret, blamed himself, hasten towards repentance and did not lose hope in Allah’s Mercy. Iblees was condemned to wretchedness through five matters: he did not acknowledge his sin, he was not regretful, and did not blame himself, rather he blamed his Lord, he did not repent and he lost hope in Allah’s Mercy.

The Great Reward of Saying “Āmīn” at the Right Time
Shaykh Muḥammad Nāṣir al-Dīn al-Albānī
Categorized under: Explanations, Fatāwá and Rulings, Ḥadīth, Mosques, Prayer, Prohibitions, Seeking Forgiveness

From Abū Hurairah, may Allāh be pleased with him, that he said: “The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:

When the imam recites:

غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ

And do not make us from those who go down the path of who have [earned] wrath upon themselves—those who knew the truth and did not practice it—the Jews and their like; nor [make us from] those who have gone astray—those who did not seek true guidance, so they went off the [right] path—the Christians and those who followed after their way. (Al-Fātiḥah, 7)

and says after that, “āmīn” [آمين], then say “āmīn,” for indeed, the angels say “āmīn” to his supplication, and anyone whose saying of “āmīn” coincides with the angels’ saying of “āmīn” will have whatever has preceded him of his sins forgiven of him.

Silsilah Al-Ṣaḥīḥah, 2543

When Exactly Should a Follower Say “Āmīn”?
Shaikh Muḥammad Naṣir Al-Dīn Al-Albānī, may Allāh have mercy on him, said:

[…] Indeed, I [once] again draw the attention of all the masses of [people] who pray [in congregation behind an imam] that they pay attention to this sunnah [of trying to say “āmīn” (آمين) at the same time as the angels to attain Allāh’s forgiveness] and to not, [meanwhile], fall into preceding the imam in his saying “āmīn” on account of it. Rather, it is upon them to hold off until, when they hear him pronounce the alif [آ] of āmīn, they [then] say [āmīn] along with him.

Sudan is Gaza's twin!

Do not neglect your brothers in Sudan; they are going through a great ordeal and affliction. If you compare their affliction to the affliction of our brothers in Gaza, you will see that the affliction is the same; if not more severe and greater. How painful it is that the media and the people ignore their great affliction; as if their blood is lesser than the blood of others. O God, be with our brothers in Sudan and Gaza. O God, relieve their affliction soon, not later, for You are the All-Hearing, the Responsive.
The best supplication for seeking forgiveness is Sayyed ul Istighfar.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

He who supplicates in these terms during the day with firm belief in it and dies on the same day (before the evening), he will be one of the dwellers of Jannah; and if anyone supplicates in these terms during the night with firm belief in it and dies before the morning, he will be one of the dwellers of Jannah [Al Bukhari].
"If one of you knew what is for him (in reward) in saying to his brother ‘Jazak Allahu khairan,’ (may Allah reward you with good) you would increase in saying it to one another. "

Umar ibn al-Khattab, ibn Abi Shaybah, 5/322.

Worship ( العبادة) is defined as:

A comprehensive term that incorporates everything that Allaah loves and is pleased with from the statements and actions, both inward and outward.
And thus, worship is of many different types, and they are mentioned in the Qur'an. And when something is declared to be worship, then it is not permissible for it to be directed to other than Allaah, and such worship occurs either in the heart, upon the tongue or through the limbs, all the forms and types of worship fall into any of these three categories.

The greatest of the types of worship is du'a ( الدعاء), "invocation, supplication", and invocation is such that it is accompanied by other forms and types of worship, especially those of the heart, such as love, hope, aspiration, reliance and the likes. And thus, the issue of invocation (du'a) is one that has been dealt with extensively in the Qur'an, in refutation of those who worship others besides Allaah, by making their hearts attached to others besides Him and invoking them (with the presence of such devotion of the heart that is befitting only for Allaah).
Du'a (invocation) is worship

From its proofs are the saying of Allaah:

فَادْعُوا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ

So, call you (O Muhammad and the believers) upon (or invoke) Allah, making (your) worship pure for Him (Alone)... (Ghafir 40:14)
Ibn Katheer commented:

Meaning, make your worship and your invocation purely and sincerely for Allaah alone, and oppose the pagans in their way and their religion.
And the pagans invoke others besides Allaah, hoping for their intercession or seeking them as a means of approach to Allaah, and Allaah refuted this in the Qur'an, and ordered that only He be invoked.

And also the saying of Allaah:

ادْعُواْ رَبَّكُمْ تَضَرُّعًا وَخُفْيَةً

Invoke your Lord with humility and in secret... (Al-A'raf 7:55)
And also the saying of Allaah:

وَأَنَّ الْمَسَاجِدَ لِلَّهِ فَلَا تَدْعُوا مَعَ اللَّهِ أَحَدًا

And the mosques are for Allah (Alone), so invoke not anyone along with Allah. (Al-Jinn 72:18)
Ibn Katheer comments:

The Most High says, commanding His slaves that they single Him out in arena of His worship and that none is invoked alongside Him...

Question: What does Jazakallahu khairan mean?
Answer: It means, "May Allah reward you with the best/goodness". ❤️

🖤 In case of men/boys, one has to say-
Jazakallahu khairan
🖤 In case of women/girls, one has to say-
Jazakillahu Khairan
🖤 In case of unknown gender/multiple people, one has to say-
Jazakumullahu Khairan🌹

What to reply back with?
In case of boys - wa iyyak
In case of girls - wa iyyaki
In case of unknown gender /multiple people : wa iyyakum

Meaning: And You too [This is the one the common message used by people. Muslims can use this phrase sometimes, and abandon it sometimes, but they must not cling to it as if it is an established Sunnah of the Messenger since there is no evidence related to it.] ❤️

Or you can say, Wa Antum Fa Jazakumullahu khayran (And you too, May Allah reward you with goodness). [Albaani has said that the Hadeeh is Saheeh in al-Saheeha 3096, al-Ta'leeqaatul hisaan al Saheeh ibn Hibbaan 6231]

🚩 When to say this?
This is to be said to someone who has done a helpful thing or one who has complimented. ❤️

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

"Whoever some good was done to him, and he says: 'May Allah reward you in goodness' then he has done the most that he can of praise."

Hasan (Darussalam) [Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2035]

And Allah knows best ❤️
