The recently concluded Microsoft Community Conference 2023 in Uzbekistan marked a pivotal moment in bringing together professionals, enthusiasts, and thought leaders to explore the latest advancements in Microsoft technologies.
📢 International "Microsoft Developers Community Conference 2023" was held in Tashkent.
🌟 Industry experts, about 1900 programmers and young people interested in new technologies and projects, more than 10 international and local speakers participated in this forum and spoke about their experiences.
Steven Giesel, Hassan Habib, Djakhongir Makhkamov and Martin Tatar, internationally renowned MVP experts of Microsoft, Vlad Ten Software Engineer, ex-Microsoft and other international speakers took part in the conference with their presentations.
➡️ .NET, Azure, directions of the Microsoft sector also Cybersecurity direction were defined as the main topic of this conference, where programmers were introduced to the opportunities, innovations, and achievements in this field.
Simply put, this event served as a great opportunity for local developers to learn new skills and network with international experts.

Happy New Year! Congratulations to every Swifter on your hard work in developing your entrepreneurial journey. Starting a company is hard work, and we are proud to be at your side!
Our long-term goal is to develop Swift Launch teams to where they can raise professional investment - here’s a summary of the Uzbek VC market in 2024:
Uzbekistan’s VC market is still in its infancy, but has demonstrated an impressive growth rate in the past few years. Between January 2022 and June 2023 it was a modest $7.2m market that saw 32 investment deals. [check it out]
International venture capitalists investing from overseas in local startups accounted for 60% of all the investment in the reporting period. Domestic VCs contributed $3.7m, of which 78% supported local startups and 22% came to foreign ones.
Government-provided venture capital accounted for 70% of all the money invested ($2.6m). The remaining 30% came from private VCs and angel investors($1.1m). The private sector is far more lethargic in investment than state-owned agencies.
Uzbekistan plans to implement investment projects worth about US$52.15 billion in 2022-2024. This is stated in the draft presidential decree on the investment program of Uzbekistan for 2022-2024, published by the Ministry of Investment and Foreign trade [source]
Uzbekistan plans to implement projects worth US$17.34 billion in 2023. Foreign direct investment will amount to US$7.06 billion.
In 2024, it is planned to implement projects for US$18.2 billion. At the same time, it is expected that foreign direct investments in the amount of US$7.73 billion will be used.
