Выпуск D7VK 1.2, реализации Direct3D 5, 6 и 7 поверх API Vulkan

Опубликован выпуск проекта D7VK 1.2, развивающего реализацию графических API Direct3D 5, 6 и 7, предложенных компанией Microsoft в 1997, 1998 и 1999 годах. D7VK работает через трансляцию вызовов в API Vulkan и позволяет при помощи Wine запускать в Linux ретро игры, завязанные на API Direct3D 5, 6 и 7. Код проекта написан на языке C++ и распространяется под лицензией Zlib. В качестве основы при разработке использован код бэкенда d3d9 от проекта DXVK - D7VK преобразует API Direct3D 5, 6 и 7 в вызовы Direct3D 9, которые затем транслируются в API Vulkan. Разработчик не намерен добиваться включения D7VK в состав DXVK, как это было с реализациями Direct3D 8 и Direct3D 9 поверх Vulkan.

Tails 7.4

Представлен релиз специализированного дистрибутива Tails 7.4 (The Amnesic Incognito Live System). Дистрибутив основан на Debian 13, самое интересное, что поставляется с рабочим столом GNOME 48 , и предназначен для анонимного выхода в сеть при помощи инструментария Tor. Все соединения, кроме трафика через сеть Tor, по умолчанию блокируются пакетным фильтром. При сохранении пользовательских данных между запусками применяется шифрование. Для загрузки подготовлен iso-образ, способный работать в Live-режиме, размером 2 ГБ.
Изменения:

Появилась возможность сохранения на USB-накопителе настроек языка, раскладок клавиатуры и форматов. Эти настройки будут применены автоматически при перезапуске Tails.
Обновления пакетов:

Tor Browser до версии 15.0.4;
Thunderbird до версии 140.6.0;
Linux kernel до версии 6.12.63.


В целях безопасности возможность загрузки дистрибутива с помощью torrent-файлов больше не предоставляется.

Для тех, кто ищет быструю библиотеку «BLAS» для подпрограмм базовой линейной алгебры, теперь доступна оптимизированная реализация OpenBLAS 0.3.31 с открытым исходным кодом.

В OpenBLAS 0.3.31 добавлены расширения BFloat16 для BGEMM и BGEMV (эти процедуры выполняют умножение матриц и умножение матриц на векторы), другие новые расширения BLAS, пороговое значение размера задачи для многопоточности с различными ядрами, улучшено автоматическое определение компилятора Fortran, а также внесен ряд исправлений в систему сборки CMake для различных платформ, от Windows до FreeBSD.

OpenBLAS 0.3.31, как и большинство их релизов, также содержит ряд новых оптимизаций производительности, специфичных для процессоров. Появились новые оптимизации производительности RISC-V для целевых платформ ZVL128B и ZVL256B, а также улучшено определение RISC-V RVV 1.0. Для ARM64 также были внесены улучшения в производительность многопоточности. Кроме того, теперь доступно автоматическое определение SoC Apple M на Linux, а также процессоров AmpereOne.

Некоммерческий удостоверяющий центр Let's Encrypt, контролируемый сообществом и предоставляющий сертификаты безвозмездно всем желающим, начал выдавать бесплатные сертификаты для IP-адресов, а также предоставил возможность получения TLS-сертификатов, время жизни которых ограничено 160 часами (6 днями). 13 мая намерены добавить поддержку выдачи сертификатов, действующих 45 дней. В соответствии с ранее объявленным планом 10 февраля 2027 года максимальный срок действия сертификатов будет сокращён с 90 до 64 дней, а 16 февраля 2028 года - до 45 дней.
