Microsoft announced the general availability (GA) of centralized RDP Shortpath configuration using Intune and Group Policy (GPO). RDP Shortpath is a UDP-based direct transport protocol that establishes connections between Remote Desktop clients and session hosts, reducing latency and improving reliability for Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365 Cloud PCs. You can now centrally configure this feature using Group Policy and Microsoft Intune, eliminating the need for manual per-host configuration.

Разработчики проекта Tor опубликовали выпуск Arti 2.0.0, официально развиваемого варианта инструментария Tor, написанного на языке Rust. Реализация отмечена как пригодная для использования обычными пользователями и обеспечивающая тот же уровень конфиденциальности, юзабилити и стабильности, что и основная реализация на языке Си. Когда код на Rust достигнет уровня, способного полностью заменить вариант на Си, разработчики намерены придать Arti статус основной реализации Tor и постепенно прекратить сопровождение варианта на Си. Код распространяется под лицензиями Apache 2.0 и MIT.

Papers adds handwriting & text annotations in latest Nightly builds

Handwriting and markup features have been added to Papers, GNOME’s – and since 25.04, Ubuntu’s – document viewer app. The latest nightly builds of Papers lets you draw on documents with ink tools to add callouts, doodles or your signature to PDF files and text boxes for typing on forms that don’t support native input. Current versions of Papers offer text highlighting with an annotation sidebar, but not freeform pen tools or moveable text boxes.
