We had a productive meeting with Donald Trump on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, and I am grateful to President Trump for this opportunity. I also sincerely appreciate that the first ladies of our countries – Melania Trump and Olena Zelenska – met to discuss the fate of Ukrainian children.

Today, much attention was given to the issue of returning children kidnapped by Russia, as well as supporting our efforts to protect lives. We discussed several promising ideas to bring peace closer, and I hope they will yield quick results. In particular, we touched on the PURL program, which is already working well, as well as potential projects within this initiative.

I am grateful to President Trump for strong cooperation with the United States. The President clearly understands the situation and is well informed about all aspects of this war. We highly appreciate his determination to help end this war.
