We need to work to ensure that we have a minimum of unresolved issues. Of course, there are red lines for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. There are compromise proposals.

All these issues are very sensitive. These include territories and the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.

If there is a renewal of approaches, we will certainly communicate with our people before making any decision, because the people of Ukraine are the most important. Either it's a referendum or certain legislative changes.

The most important thing is security guarantees.

Today, Russia demonstrated how it responds to Ukraine and the U.S. peace negotiations to end Russia's war against Ukraine — they massively attacked Ukraine.

It is precisely on the path to peace negotiations that Russia is showing its response to this. Today, the most important thing for us is that if we take certain steps, it is important that the security guarantees be strong and we be protected.

If the American side raises questions about a referendum or elections, it certainly cannot be in the conditions in which we live today.

There should be a safe sky and security everywhere in our territory, at least during elections or referendums.

And it's very important that observers are present everywhere.

Russia has already set a task to do everything possible to allow Ukrainians who are in Russia and those in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine to vote.

The Russian task is to constantly raise the issue that a large number of people live there and they supposedly have the right to vote.

And all this is just to later say that Russia does not recognize these elections. Russia doesn't care how to convey the message about the supposed illegitimacy of the Ukrainian government.

Russia itself is illegitimate and therefore will give corresponding messages about the illegitimacy of the Ukrainian government.

Ukraine did not start this war. Russia did. Ukraine supported President Trump's proposal for a ceasefire. Ukraine has made many compromises, and this is reflected in our working agreements, our 20-point plan.

Ukraine is doing everything it can to stop this war.

For us, the number one priority, or the only priority, is ending the war. Our priority is peace.

In this war between Russia and Ukraine, we want peace, but Russia demonstrates a desire to continue the war.

If the whole world, Europe and America, is on our side, we will all together stop Putin.

Because we will all together want one thing: the end of the war, normal peace, sustainable peace, safe for the whole world.

If someone, the USA or Europe, is on Russia's side, this means that the war will continue. There are no more options here. And this is a risk for all countries of the world. Because Russia will not stop, regardless of any agreements, any eloquent messages from them.

We are now militarily stronger than we were at the time when the enemies attacked.

If they choose to confront us, they will naturally face a more decisive response.

Their hope is that something happens internally so they can begin their intervention.
