Drones with Artificial Intelligence Support Were Tested in Ukraine
They can capture a target and pursue it until impact, even after losing the communication channel with the operator, The Washington Post reported.
The advent of AI-enabled drones holds huge promise for Ukraine’s military but may also be exploited by nefarious non-state actors
In an open test field in rural Ukraine, a drone equipped with a bomb lost connection with its human operator after coming under attack by electronic jamming equipment — but instead of crashing to the ground, the drone accelerated toward its target and destroyed it...
Such AI technology, under development by a growing number of Ukrainian drone companies, is one of several innovative leaps underway in Kyiv’s domestic drone market...
The design and software innovations, as well as mass dissemination of piloting know-how, are also likely to influence the way drones are used far beyond the war in Ukraine, with serious implications for governments confronting separatist militias, drug cartels and extremist groups seeking to gain a technological edge...
...The exigencies of war, however, have turned the country into a kind of super lab of invention, attracting investment from vaunted business luminaries including former Google chief executive Eric Schmidt. More than 200 Ukrainian companies involved in drone production are now working hand-in-glove with military units on the front lines to tweak and augment drones to improve their ability to kill and spy on the enemy.

This 4 year old bill started off as a whitepaper on Online Harms. It applies to any website or service which hosts or shares user-generated content. That could be interpreted as a blog that accepts comments, vs a encrypted chat application with millions of users. Public forums, video sites, instant messaging - pretty much everything.
There's two categories of providers, 1 and 2 - Category 1 having the largest userbase and risk and Category 2 consisting of all other websites. Category 2 need to act on illegal content and activity.
Category 1 would bear the brunt of the scrutiny and is required to:
- publish transparency report on the steps they're taking
- implement ways to verify identities on their platforms
- protect children from harmful content such as a pornography
- regular risk assessments
- age checks
- take down offensive content such as terrorism, child abuse, other offenses
- take down scams
Read the Online Safety Bill (Official UK Gov Website) - Section 5
Once passed into the House of Lords, the bill will be read and debated about multiple times, eventually passing into the House of Commons, where the process is repeated.
While the EFF and larger messaging providers like Signal, Element, and WhatsApp encourage people to email their representatives, I'm not convinced sending an email will do much, although I wish people the best with their efforts.
This comes down to mass non-compliance and free software. If the bill passes, the UK would need to fine a large portion of a billion websites, in and out of their jurisdiction.
Can a group of lawmakers who barely understand encryption really enforce a bill that attempts to pry into the user data of every website? If larger providers truly are committed to their user's privacy they will need to reject compliance and move into a safer jurisdiction. Otherwise we're left with companies like Apple, Microsoft, and Google who are more than happy to implement these scanning & identity measures on their platforms.

Friends,
Unfortunately, the conversation around bioweapons that could be targeted based on race or genetic factors has been lost in the accusations of anti-semitism being lobbed at RFK Jr. You don't need to agree with his statements to understand that there are very real concerns relating to DNA targeted weapons.
I wrote about this twice in the last two years.
April 2021 - Bill Gates, China, 23andMe, and Your DNA
Is there a connection between China, Bill Gates, YouTube, and DNA collection?
The answer is yes and you should be aware of these Big Tech and Big Gene connections.
June 2022 - How Your DNA Tests Could Make You a Target for Bioweapons
In the latest warning regarding DNA testing, two US Representatives have warned that DNA testing could lead to gene-specific bioweapons.
In this one I talk about the numerous connections between Chinese companies and DNA collection.
BTW, you don't even have to believe in viruses to recognize that DNA targeted weapons or engineered toxins are a potential threat.

US Sanctions Block UN Software for Earthquake Response in Syria, Iran
Life-saving humanitarian coordination software used by the UN’s emergency response network was blocked in Syria after February’s devastating earthquake because of US sanctions, Middle East Eye (MEE) reported on 28 July.
The online system is also inaccessible in Iran, which has suffered from devastating earthquakes in the past, and where the rapid coordinated deployment of search and rescue teams may prove crucial to save people trapped under rubble after an earthquake in the future.
The Feb. 6th earthquake killed tens of thousands of people across hundreds of kilometers of southern Turkiye and northern Syria, but thousands of people were also saved from collapsed buildings by search and rescue teams.
The software, known as the Insarag Coordination & Management System (ICMS), was developed by the UN’s International Search and Rescue Advisory Group (Insarag).
One of the developers of the ICMS has described its importance as “delivering key intelligence to the right people at the right place at the right time.”
Urban search and rescue teams can log details of rescue efforts via mobile phone apps, allowing coordinators to better understand the situation on the ground and appropriately deploy resources.
However, in Syria, the system was inaccessible on the ground in the critical first days after the earthquake.
The ICMS system was blocked because it runs on a platform called ArcGIS, which is developed and maintained by a US-based company, the Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI).
ESRI does not allow its products to be used in countries subject to US sanctions, and lists both Syria and Iran as prohibited countries on its website.

Togolese activist Farida Nabourema shares good insights on spreading Bitcoin (or new ideas for that matter).
How do you typically respond to those who are dismissive of Bitcoin, especially those close to you?
Honestly, I don’t reach out to friends and family to teach them about Bitcoin. I never do that because I don’t consider myself a Bitcoin evangelist and people are very sensitive and aggressive when it comes to money and the less they know, the more aggressive they are.
I would rather go to communities that have been excluded from the financial system or that need an alternative to the existing ones to teach them about Bitcoin and they always welcome it because it works for them and they need a solution anyway. These are farmers, activists, young people. Now, while seeing me do that, some close friends come to me and ask to learn and because the request comes from them, not me trying to impose it on them, and they are very receptive to it.

Ever heard of IPTV? Its a protocol that lets people stream continuous video over the internet to hundreds of people.
Popular in foreign countries, many people use IPTV to watch TV or live sporting events for free or practically free, the streamer purchases access and then streams their live feed.
25% of Italians use IPTV, and now the Italian parliament has passed a law to prevent the growth of IPTV and provide consequences for those using the service.
Italy's AGCOM (Authority of Communications Guarantees) approved the following rules:
- AGCOM will issue dynamic injunctions against pirate services, blocking user access within the first 30 minutes
- This will occur by blocking DNS resolution and traffic routing for IPs that are "unambigiously" identified as unlawful
- ISPs must respond to blocking requests quickly
- ISPs will need to report info about the pirate service providers
- ISPs would be fined €10,620 to €265,000
- Streaming services would face up to 3 years in prison, plus a fine up to €15,000
- Users of IPTV would be fined €5,000
Another exercise in mass censorship systems. Pirate services may move quickly out of the country to friendly jurisdictions, and users may attempt to protect their internet traffic.

Graphene oxide, or reduced graphene oxide (GO/rGO) has been the topic of much research, much use and many controversies since it was invented less than two decades ago.
Is graphene safe? Has it really been found in Covid-19 injectables? Could this be why some people were shown to be magnetic on the area of their injection site? Is it possible that graphene is magnified by the EMF emitted by mobile phone antennas? Let's take a deep dive into one of the biggest controversies around.
Have you looked at the evidence, and what do you think?

In September 2020, Microsoft first announced "Premonition", a robotics and sensor platform that automatically samples disease carrying insects, like mosquitos.
Originally partnering with universities and pharmaceutical giant Bayer for R&D, Microsoft wants to track and control vector-born diseases for 'bio-threat' detection.
The system consists of automated Mosquito traps which can capture mosquitos and perform "meta-genomic" analyses. The first place Microsoft decided to roll out the technology was in Harris County, Texas.
The county received 100 traps beginning in early 2021, and now that the system has been gathering data for 2 years, new Disease Activity Maps were released.
How is the data analyzed?
Premonition’s “metagenomic” analyses will also allow us to computationally scan environmental samples for known and novel threats – giving us new tools to help detect emerging environmental pathogens, such as Zika, much earlier.
🗺 View the maps
—
Yet another tool in the arsenal of the surveillance state where diseases can be tracked without transparency, and used as justification for measures such as expanded spraying, lockdowns, and promotion of fear.
Could this system be used to test for genetically-modified mosquitos such as those used as malaria "vaccines" in the 2017 Seattle trials? Ironically these trials were funded by The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, with future rounds funded by DoD and the NIH.
Genetically-Engineered mosquitos were also supposedly deployed by Oxitec in this same area, covered in this report by Derrick Broze.

Scientists at Texas A&M and Sandia National Laboratories have discovered pure metals like Platinum can heal nanoscale fatigue cracks, reversing the damage through interaction with micro-structural features.
Scientists took nanocrystaline Platinum under a transmission electron microscope (TEM) under tensile high-cycle fatigue to observe the autonomous healing of a crack while the metal was still under fatigue.
This process is called "cold welding" where metals can join when compressed under contact - however this is the first time seeing the behavior on the tip of a fatigue crack under tension.
The crack reduced by 18nm and did not open again, but grew in a new direction after further cycles. This indicates the microstructure of the metal began evolving.
2 out of 3 additional repeated experiments with Pt were successful.
📄 Read the paper
Experiments such as these lead me to believe that matter isn't as dead as it seems.
