Received an email from Google this morning threatening to remove Flote from the Google Play Store unless we start censoring our users.
We knew this day was coming for over a year now, which is why we built an APK that is available on our website. It has been very obvious with their track record with banning Infowars, Gab, Parler and I'm sure others over the years that Google repeatedly stands in the way and restricts free speech. We will not be told how to run our company by tyrants, period.

Emails Reveal Mark Zuckerberg Offered Facebook User Data to Dr. Fauci to Help Create Controversial Lockdown Policies

🇺🇸@COVID19Up: In April 2020, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg offered Dr. Fauci help in “facilitating” decisions regarding lockdown measures, according to private emails exchanged between the two.

Zuckerberg’s offer referred to aggregating “anonymized” user reports that would help the government decide whether to tighten or loosen lockdown mandates.

The emails show Zuckerberg willing to put Facebook’s gigantic user data trove at Fauci's disposal.

“If there are other aggregate data resources that you think would be helpful, let me know,” the Facebook CEO wrote to Fauci, whom he referred to as “Tony.”

In his response, Fauci said, “I will think hard about ways that we may take you up on your offer.”

Google Docs Notifications Are Updated to Restrict Documents That Contain “Hate Speech” and “Misleading” Content

📡@G3News: On Tuesday (Dec. 14), Google announced new notifications in Google Drive that show the platform has restricted the sharing and access of files that violate its policies. In a blog post, the tech giant said that it will restrict the sharing of files that violate its Terms of Service and abuse program policies.

If a file is flagged for violating policies, the owner will still have full access but sharing will not be possible and those who already had a link will no longer have access.

The owner of the file will receive an email informing them their files have been restricted.

Hey my nodes, I have been quiet for a bit working on several new projects! A few of which I will share:

#TBOT BYTES: A new shortform video-series for Take Back Our Tech, the goal with this one is simply to get more people watching it and taking action to improve their individual privacy workflows. I've found it is difficult (at least for myself) to sit through full length content and then act upon it. This new series was designed to be 5 minutes or less, with the viewer able to follow along & act immediately.

Our first video will be published this week and will be about protecting yourself against web tracking.

#TBOT @ The Greater Reset III: We are preparing a new piece of media for this third Greater Reset that extends past just being educational, but illustrates an important story.

The story of an individual and collective struggle to disconnect from abusive systems and exercise our inherent freedom, mirroring what is happening in today's society.

This main character of the story is of course, our mascot Tee (TBOT) and we'll get to see their origin and struggle to reprogram an increasingly restricted universe.

Should Children Be Allowed To Work? Are Video Games Preparing Kids for ‘The Metaverse’? Do I Support Digital Child Slavery?

The answers to these questions might seem unimportant in the grand scheme of all that we are currently facing as we approach 2022. However, they are related to the impending danger of the involuntary tokenization of everything and the push towards the all encompassing digital prison known as The Metaverse. With that in mind, this essay is both a response to a recent attack on my work, AND an exploration of these important issues, as well as my own philosophical beliefs regarding all of the above.

First, since this is not about names or personalities, I won’t name my accusers. Instead, I will focus on outlining their claims and debunking them. I will also share my views on technology, the sovereignty of children, work, and video games in general.
