We are now announcing the creation of our new sister company called Tillitis AB. Today the company announces its upcoming product, the Tillitis Key, first available at the Open Source Firmware Conference.

The Tillitis Key can be used for purposes such as logging in to computers and websites or to make digital signatures.

Something that makes the key unique is the fact that both its software and hardware are open source. Therefore it can be trusted because of its ability to be inspected and verified. The USB is free to be programmed by end users whilst still being secure. This offers the flexibility to easily be used in a wide variety of new applications.

HEX Founder Richard Heart Predicts Bitcoin Will Fall to $11,000 and ETH to $750
@takebackourtech | SOURCE

The founder of Hex, Richard Heart previously predicted exclusively to Watcher Guru that Bitcoin will crash to $11,000. The crypto tycoon predicted that Ethereum will also face a similar fate, despite the successful Merge which was completed on Thursday. He said to Business Insider that buying ETH for the Merge is a “bad strategy” for the short term. However, he believes that buying ETH now is a good option for the long-term scenario.

Richard Heart told Business Insider that when Bitcoin bottoms out at $11,000, Ethereum could plunge along with it. Heart predicted that Ethereum could bottom out at $750 levels, which is down by another 50% from its current price.

He also predicted that both the crypto and stock markets will face a bloodbath in the coming months due to inflation. “This time, the Federal Reserve isn’t done with its fight against inflation, which means interest rates will continue to rise. As long as rates are going up, the stock market and crypto will only go down,” he said.

Has anyone else recently seen an obnoxious new email signature when getting emails from a ProtonMail user?

The huge signature is tasteless and false - and I'm betting that free users can't even control whether it gets sent.

Here's the the signature I received:
Sent with ProtonMail. Why do I use ProtonMail? Because big tech monitors, tracks and records everything you do online. The only way to have truly secure email is if both sender and recipient are using ProtonMail.

Handing over your private keys to ProtonMail is the only way to secure email? What a joke!

In other recent news, you may have heard about the massive monsoon in Pakistan. Here's a satellite image that shows the creation of what appears to be an ocean on a large swath of the country.

I personally encourage you to donate to the Edhi foundation which is an independent welfare organization that is providing rescue, food, and essentials to the 33M Pakistanis that were displaced by the floods.

The life of Abdul Edhi is truly inspiring, I particularly like this one quote:

In an interview given to a journalist in Lahore in 1991, Edhi said,”I want to request the people not to invite me to social gatherings and inaugural ceremonies. This only wastes my time which is wholly devoted to the well being of our people.”

Have you been paying attention to Ethereum's transition into Proof Of Stake and what it means?

Jordan Schachtel of The Dossier breaks it down in this article.

Completed under the big budget marketing campaign of a “climate friendly” and ESG compliant reshuffle, the Ethereum protocol moved from a proof of work system — which borrowed from Bitcoin’s model of distributed, decentralized computing power (work) for validating the network — to a proof of stake system, which relies on dominant stakeholders to do the same.

There is no longer any “work,” or energy output, required, which is why the ESG and climate hoax crowd has hailed the project as a revolutionary achievement. They seem to miss the fact that ETH now represents a digital fiat currency, as there is no longer a legitimate case for a value proposition attached to it.

Unlike Bitcoin’s proof of work system, which provides for robust decentralization and individual security, ETH is now set up so a select few “stakeholders” can determine the outcome of the entire system. The dominant stakeholders can simply get together and manipulate the protocol as they see fit.

But it’s not the private entities that present the greatest threat to liberty and privacy.

This asset is now an easy target for a hostile state or international institutional takeover.

Scientists Blasted Plastic With Lasers and Turned It Into Tiny Diamonds and a New Type of Water

Using ultrapowerful lasers, scientists have blasted cheap plastic and transformed it into tiny "nanodiamonds" — and, in doing so, confirmed the existence of an exotic new type of water. .

The findings could potentially reveal the existence of diamond rain on ice giants in our solar system and explain why these frigid worlds have such strange magnetic fields. The laser-blasting technique could also lead to more Earthly applications.

Nanodiamonds are diamonds that measure just a few nanometers, or billionths of a meter. They have both existing and potential applications, such as turning carbon dioxide into other gases and delivering drugs into the body, study co-author Dominik Kraus, a physicist at Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf in Germany, told Live Science.

"Nanodiamonds could also be used as ultrasmall and very precise quantum sensors for temperature and magnetic fields, which may result in a plethora of applications," Kraus said.

The technique could also reduce plastic pollution by creating a financial incentive to clear and transform plastics from the ocean, he said

In May 2021 Whitney Webb reported on ARPA-H and the transhumanist agenda.

In July 2021 I reported on Gingko Bioworks role in the agenda.

This month the Biden admin appointed the VP of Gingko to be the 1st director of ARPA-H.

Now, TLAV has just published my latest piece, The Biden Administration Embraces Technocracy with Promise of $2 Billion in Funding for the “BioEconomy”, looking at the recent Executive Order from the Biden Admin.

Buku, powerful bookmark manager & personal textual mini-web

Ever find something cool on the internet and forget to save it?

In my case I found an alternative repository for Chrome extensions so you wouldn't have to Download it through the Chrome Web Store. Now I'm having a hard time finding it (i have no idea why Google would want to hide it as a result ;)

Thanks to some awesome peeps in the #TBOT XMPP group (tbot@group.chat.above.im) I am going to give buku a try, and start saving more information that crosses my screen.

Buku allows you to save links, tag & organize them. You can do cool things like tag a related group of links, and then open all of them at one time.

There's no tracking, hidden history, obsolete records, usage analytics or homing.

Buku gets around the problem of having multiple incompatible bookmark formats across browsers and provides a standard way to sync bookmarks from any computer. You can even integrate it to save a URL in your clipboard with a keyboard shortcut.

I'll let you know my experiences! And hopefully I find that alternative chrome extension repository I was looking for.

#TBOT Power Users #3: Morning Self-Care Routine
@takebackourtech

JOIN THE NEWSLETTER

Good morning you beautiful soul,

We're taking a detour from tech today - to the most important technology of all. (human technology)

In an age where we are asked for so much by the outside world - its important to ask ourselves what we need and design our lifestyle around fulfilling those needs. This practice is called 'self-care', and I have discovered it recently but my appreciation for it has grown with each passing day.

I'd like to share my morning self-care routine with you, because its making a huge difference in my life. I hope it might remind you of something you want to do for yourself.

For me, its composed of 5 different pillars of care, you don't have to be so extensive but its nice to be able to separate and give each one my full conscious attention.

I start this routine in the morning and it can take up to an hour or more to complete - on days where I wake up late, it gets neglected. Waking up early is an crucial part, as you can perform your self-care without the pressing demands of the day.

The order of these is dynamic, according to what you need that morning. When I wake up with back pain, I'm more inclined to start with body care than anything else. If I wake up with troubling thoughts, then spirit care is the go to.

Spirit Care

Spirit Care is one of the most important pillars, it allows you to check in with yourself and gives an opportunity to 'take out the spiritual laundry'. You may choose to perform breathwork, contemplate on your thoughts and feelings, meditate, or visualize your dreams. Its a great way to dedicate time to your meditation practice. Recently I have been watching and practicing the Heart Math breathing & coherence techniques on their free program: The Heart Math Experience - I encourage you to check it out! If you're interested, I will be having an interview with Howard Martin, one of the founders of HeartMath. We will discuss the technology of the heart, and how your heart coherence can effect your experience and the world around you.

Self Care

Self Care for me is about taking care of our physical form and its complexities. Its during this time where I plan out my vitamins and supplements for the day and take what I need. I will acknowledge pains or problems, and I might even spend time researching or reading on what I could to fix them. This fits in perfectly after your shower routine, you can use it to take care of your skin, teeth, hair and so much else. So much knowledge is freely available out there. Sometimes it can be easy as searching

Body Care

My self care routine first started with Body Care out of necessity. This is where you address the physical pains in your muscles, tightness, and any weaknesses you might have. This is a great time to start a yoga or stretching practice. Rather than putting it in a timebox, I will give every muscle group its full attention until they feel stretched and active. On top of doing a regular routine, this is the perfect time to address the parts of your body you have been ignoring but are calling out for help. You may grab some books on Yoga, or specific pains you are having. Here is one book I am using that's been incredible.

Space Care

They say a clean room is a relfection of a clean mind. I dedicate time each day to picking up around my spaces, cleaning the surfaces, organizing. I find pleasure in structuring the space to better match my goals. This is also a perfect time to go out and check on the plants. 🌿

People Care

Usually the last part of my morning routine is people care, which first consists of making time for loved ones, and then responding to the many messages I might have missed throughout the week. Its time to stay connected in new relationships, be curious about others, and to share your appreciation and gratitude. I keep track of the open communication loops and try to take care of them during this time.

That's it for the care routine! The important part is giving yourself dedicated time to express your needs. If we wait till we start our day, then unfortunately our needs compete with the outside world which is often louder and more pressing.

I'd like to end this post by sharing my love & appreciation for my wonderful partner Curly. She was the first to make me realize me proper self care by inviting me to her skin care routine, which we would do together every morning. At first I didn't understand the point, but now I'm experiencing the power of loving yourself through intention, care, and action.

How will you prove love to yourself today?
