Android used to be a playground for power users. Now it’s a locked-down joke. Unlock the bootloader and apps break, features vanish, and you're treated like malware. No one’s getting hacked because of this it’s just bad engineering and anti-user policy.
UX gets worse every year. Bloat, ads, broken updates and no way to fix it.
Rooting? Bootloader unlock? Penalized.
We’re not users just revenue streams trapped in locked hardware.
OEMs can’t ship working software, and they’ve stopped pretending to care.

AOSP is not going away
Seang Chau, VP and GM, Android Platform has posted on X saying that AOSP is not going anywhere, and that it was built on a foundation of "being an open platform for device implementations, SoC vendors, and instruction set architectures."
However, he has not said anything about why Pixel device trees have not been released.

Get Android source (for Pixel)
Starting from Android 16, Google stopped making Pixel device trees public. Instead, there is a portal made available for developers (at least that's what they have left as an option).
You will be required to fill in a form and they will decide whether to distribute the code or not, plus there might be a processing fee. Additionally, they mentioned you can only apply for devices that you received within three years or devices that still receive customer support for code licensed under the GPL-3.
More info: AOSP

Weird colours on 90hz workaround: (STRIX-Revived MIUI variant and los-20 perf):- 1. Switch from 60hz first, then 90hz (if you're on 120hz, then switch to 60, then 90) 2. Kernel has KCAL, so via FKM -> burger menu -> Display Control * Lower Red colour to…
Updated!
No more increasing Value, that just makes things brighter
Just lower Contrast and viola, very identical colours to 60hz
