My friend is looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer to independently manage a remote project involving web application development, API integration, and data handling. You should be confident working across the full stack — from frontend (React.js, Redux, Hooks) to backend (Node.js, Express.js) — and comfortable deploying to cloud environments (AWS or GCP).

Compensation: 80,000 ETB per month (payment can also be made in USD).

If you’re up for the challenge and have the skills to deliver independently, please submit your application via the form: Link

Another Sunday...🙂

Something that changed from previous weeks is that we started class seriously... 😁, mostly as a software department we were well known by not having classes most of the time but now it's 4 to 5 days of the week😐, well we are adopting to it...🙂

On the other hand last week I managed to go to innobiz-K which is one of the startup incubation center supported by MiNT and I got great insights and I am thinking if we can prepare a trip as a campus community to see the other side which is innovative and startup, the offer we can get and the different technologies there and the working environment too.🙂

Also i was working on my side projects to finalise and deploy it but due to unexpected bug I was stuck at somepoint so I will share here as soon as I am done with it.🙂

Lesson of the week: networking with people is the first step to open doors to many opportunities.

Wish u all productive week! 🙂✌️

I started this project because every time i wanted to apply for a job or internship i needed a customized CV tailored for that specific opportunity.... Also, I often found it challenging to determine how well my experience align with the job denoscription...like am i fit for this job based on the experience i have so far...🤔

Considering this I started to develop a simple AI CV Optimizer that can help me enhance and adjust my existing CV or create one based on the information I provide about my experience and education, the tool will not only format the CV effectively but also indicate the percentage of alignment with the job denoscription...
🔥5
How to Use the AI CV Optimizer:

1. Upload Resume: Paste your CV text or upload a PDF, DOCX, or TXT file (maximum size: 10MB).
2. Add Job Denoscription: Enter the relevant job denoscription and role.
3. Optimize: Click "Optimize My CV" and wait for the AI to process your request.
4. Review: Preview the optimized CV.
5. Download: Save your CV as a PDF or DOCX file.

You all can give it a try, You can use this link to access the initial version🙂: https://ai-cv-optimizer-coral.vercel.app/

Devtopia is back.

We talked about what we were up to for the last 6 months. We are planning to do one episode per two weeks.

We also have an editor now, Bisrat, so hopefully this will help us maintain our release schedule.

Another Sunday is here...🙂

The week went really fast honestly speaking... I was working on the tasks I had related to class and work, so it was hard to get more time for the side projects, but I still managed to have some time to progress on the project I left started since it needed more energy and time...😅

This project is started because I needed something to control my money flow...I think some of us got this issue...😅, so the plan is for it to work based on the messages I receive from the banks every time money is in and out my bank account and it will let me input the reason I spent that money for because I mostly get confused on what exactly I spent some of my money on...so this is the main reason I started this project, I am planning to finish it until the end of next week if it goes as planned...🙂

We might want to master everything but the thing i learn through time is that it's always one step at a time!

Wish u all great week!✌️
