Google announced "Genie 3", a model that generates real-time 3d worlds in 720p from a single prompt

What's wild is how consistent everything stays when you interact and change it. And this is the worst it'll ever be -- it'll only get better from here

How to create your own programming language...🤔
2🤩1
The week went by in a flash😅

Anyway this week i was working on the previous project and did research on some AI tools because things are coming to reality so fast. Out there nowadays there are unrealistic looking AI's that can make our work in a short time and i believe that we all need to learn about them because that's how we can catch up with the current tech advancement.

So this week i was doing research and checking on different AI's that specialize on web and mobile app development, designing tools including those for 3Dweb developments and drawing and sketching tools too ofcourse...

Also while doing the research, i got interesting free online storyboard maker called: StoryTribe, i bet u will love it😍, although can't say it's fully free since it has a pro version but still the free version is cool...

And will share the other good functioning tools i came across. I know vibe coding is so bad, but i believe knowing how it works won't hurt will give you additional knowledge you need to know...🙂

📢 Calling #AI innovators — including start-ups, #SMEs, and enterprises — with validated solutions or high-impact potential, who can demonstrate a need for compute and are leveraging local language datasets.

🚀 The Compute Accelerator Programme, aimed at helping innovators to scale their #AI solutions across borders, is now accepting applications!

This flagship initiative of the AI Hub for Sustainable Development, powered by Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy and implemented by UNDP, will support compute-ready AI ventures and early-stage innovators across 🌍 #Algeria, #Angola, #Egypt, #Ethiopia, #Ghana, #CôtedIvoire#Kenya, #Mauritania, #Morocco, #Mozambique, #RepublicoftheCongo, #Senegal, #Tanzania and #Tunisia.

Why Apply

Access to advanced GPU and cloud compute infrastructure

Technical mentorship with respected AI experts

International partnerships with investors and industry leaders

Talent acquisition and data readiness support to scale

Covering a six-month period (from October 2025 to March 2026), the programme consists of two tailored tracks:

Compute Ready Track - for market-validated AI ventures with immediate compute needs

Compute Curious Track - for early-stage ventures with strong potential but limited readiness

💡 The programme is designed to address the urgent need for affordable, accessible compute, and to match the realities and ambitions of innovators.

Selected participants can engage with strategic partners from #Italy, the #EU, and #G7 countries to drive inclusive industrial development.

The image above is sponsored by "mebrat hail" which always give us some dark and silence to rethink our life decisions...😐

Hellooo, so we are on Sunday huh, also I don't know what happened to Friday and Saturday, the two days passed so fast that makes me think that today was Saturday 😅

Coming to the real talk I have started weekly challenge previously to bring envisioned side projects to life or learn something new every week and share it on Sunday🙂.

I didn't accomplish the first project yet it's somehow vast, but there's progress ofc it's 70% done also since I need some additional resources for it I continued working on one simple project which is Simple Amharic/English typing converter. It uses amharic in English words(eg: selam) and convert them to a word with amharic alphabet(ሰላም) and it also has some additional features. Either way I can't share it today because the light is out and my PC shuts down, so will try to finish and host it tomorrow then I will share it...good night ✌️.

...finally the first version of the project is done...🙂, although it still needs some work to be efficient...

This web tool converts phonetic Amharic typed in English letters into proper Amharic noscript also for the current version i hard-coded the mapping so it's not as efficient as i expected it to be but the purpose is for users to type naturally in “English letters,” and the tool automatically transcribes it to readable Amharic and there's a way we can translate that to English too

Future improvement plans:

Finding pre-organized phonetic mappings and additional resources to enable efficient trannoscription to Amharic and translation to English

Conducting research to explore the possibility of extending this solution to other Ethiopian languages

So here is the hosted site link if you want to check:

It's already second day of the week, wish u all a productive week!🫡

...So I was digging a bit into this project today and realized that it’s actually a lot bigger than I first thought and also there's still plenty of work needed to make it more usable and actually work as planned, you know Amharic is a bit complicated like we use the same English for two different Amharic characters :
eg: bir: ብር and birabiro: ቢራቢሮ

Here we commonly use use this kinda writings Amharic typed in English letters

bi for both "ብ" and "ቢ"

So the idea is to find best way to implement this!😅

And also if I ever want to bring this project to support other Ethiopian languages, that’s gonna take even more effort and deep research...

So... I decided to make it fully open source, that anyone who’s interested or have ideas on how to solve this kinda issues can make changes, and help improve it way beyond what it is right now...🙂

Here’s the GitHub repo feel free to check it out, play around, and contribute:
