South Korea's National Assembly passed a law to combat online piracy.

The law increases the maximum prison sentence for serious infringement from 5 to 7 years.
The maximum fine doubles from approximately $34,000 USD to approximately $68,000 USD.

Sharing or posting links to pirated material is now a standalone criminal offense, even on social media.

It also introduces punitive damages of up to five times the rights holder's actual losses and enables faster blocking of infringing sites.

Most provisions take effect in six months, the tougher penalties raise risks for anyone sharing pirated links.
This applies only in South Korea.

Microsoft says Windows 11 Copilot+ PCs are designed to "take gaming performance further" and adds that 32 GB RAM is ideal for serious gamers.

"If you’d rather skip the part-matching headache, Copilot+ PCs come pre-configured with the latest CPUs, GPUs, and thermal designs tuned for gaming, so you can dive straight into the action," Microsoft argues.
