Google in its blog post shared low resolution images of “variety of designs for the rear camera bump,”. But Google wanted to maintain familiar design elements like the camera’s pill shape, while also embracing minimalism.

Pixel 9 Pro/XL are the first pixels to feature a VC which even the regular Pixel 9 lacks. But surprisingly, even the Pixel 9a packs a VC. If you are wondering 'why', that's basically done to manage heat caused due to inferior packaging method i.e 'iPOP' with Pixel 9a' Tensor G4.
