What One UI 8 Beta 1 does better and worse than iOS 26 dev Beta 1
Better:
- Stability - Way smoother and without any bugs or overheating
- AI - Samsung is still ahead in this
- Some app designs - Weather & image search are some that are more intuitive & function better
- Interfaces - while the design of them is better on iOS, their functionality is better in One Ui
Worse:
- Overall design - Not bad, but also not as bold as iOS 26. For some this would be in the better category, personally it’s worse
- Animations - Way better on iOS 26, especially the bounce & unlock
- Customization - Excluding Good lock, in general iOS 26 seems to give the user more freedom, especially in the Lock Screen and when modifying apps
- Other app designs - Camera and messages are a few that are better on iOS
