ColorOS China vs. ColorOS Global

What’s different?

1. Different music player live alert

2. No support for Circle to Search or Gemini by default

3. No Quick Share. You have OPPO Share here but you can’t use it to share with global ColorOS/OxygenOS devices since those can only send files to iPhones.

4. You have Breeno Memory, which is called Mind Space on the global ROM.

5. Speaking of, there’s Breeno Assistant (which runs on DeepSeek and can take English commands too) and Breeno Circle to Search.

6. There’s also a Breeno Shortcuts app which lets you create shortcuts and add them to the home screen. You can also create automatic shortcuts like those if - then ones. It also has some nice customizable widgets that can be added to the home screen.

7. There’s a devices row in the control center which allows you to manage your other devices like Bluetooth earphones or tablets and laptops connected via O+ Connect.

You can also add TVs, cars, smartwatches, and other IoT devices like ACs here.

8. You also have this Breeno Memory widget which shows your most used apps.

9. Speaking of which, there are a ton of exclusive widgets here. Even the design of many widgets is different - like the step tracker widget for example.

10. Most of the AI features work here too - AI Eraser, AI 4K Upscale, AI Unblur, AI Recompose, AI Reflection Eraser, AI VoiceScribe, etc. However, summaries in the Breeno Memory app are in Chinese.

11. You get a way better media player on the lock screen with ColorOS China. The media player on the lock screen doesn’t collapse also when you minimize the notifications, unlike ColorOS global.

12. Google services work here too but you have toggle that in the settings and install the Play Store from the App Market first. Android Auto works too, both wired and wireless.

13. ColorOS China doesn’t let you swipe down on a notification to expand it, in both Split and Classic mode. Even ColorOS global didn’t support this in Split mode until recently.
