Redmi just tried to play psychologically, but it's easy to get the gist.
- Removed the charger from the box (yep, this version doesn't have that bundled)
- Designed a new Red color for marketing and looks
- Priced it at ₹14,999 for 6/128 without offers
- Now, you will have to go and buy yourself a 45W charger, and surprise, they do not sell that charger separately.
- You'll have to buy the 67W charger for ₹1,999 to get the full 45W charging speed.....which brings the actual cost to the same ₹16,999 as the Redmi Note 14.
In short: not a great deal, yet another lazy launch.

Redmi Note 14 SE is nothing but the Redmi Note 14 launched again with :
poor Dimensity 7025 SoC (basically rebranded Dimensity 930) !
Dimensity 7300 / 7400 & Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 are wayyyy better than D7025 ~15K !!

Redmi has removed charger from the box‼️
If, you're buying Redmi Note 14 SE [which you shouldn't as better options are there] then you won't get charger in the box
And you've to buy the charger separately by paying extra ₹1000 & that is also a 33W charger not 45W
Redmi Note 14 SE supports 45W

ColorOS
Let's talk about UI effects of ColorOS when launching apps.
If you don't know, ColorOS and its variations like OxygenOS and Realme UI offer different levels of UI effects based on the device's pricing (mostly).
Accordingly, the app opening style is altered meaning a 15K device will have an entirely different experience than a 50K+ phone.
Grade 1: The absolute best ColorOS has to offer. In the image, you can see this tier offers Gaussian blur, giving a sense of depth.
Available on: OPPO Find X8 series, OnePlus 13 series, OnePlus 12 series, OnePlus 11 series, Realme GT 7 Pro, Realme GT 7.
Grade 2: Here blur is present when opening apps but it's a static quality blur. The 'premiuness' is missing here.
Available on: OPPO Reno 14 series, Realme GT 7T, Realme P3 Pro/Ultra, OnePlus Nord 5 series.
Grade 3/4: As expected, the most inferior of the lot as it completely misses out on any kind of blur. Suitable for sub-15K phones but few years back ColorOS phone around this range had blur too.
Note:- Although the Reno 14 Pro costs Rs 50K, it unfortunately has Grade 2 UI effects. Lower priced Realme GT 7 and OnePlus 13R get Grade 1.
Similarly, Realme P3 and OPPO K13 have proper app opening animations unlike Realme P3 Pro which has a better chipset.
So the tier of UI effects you get totally depends on the device's positioning and not necessarily pricing.
