YouTube has updated its monetization policy to allow swearing within the first 7 seconds of videos

Both old and new uploads are now eligible to earn full ad revenue

Videos with profanity in thumbnails or noscripts will still be demonetized

Starting July 29, creators will no longer face automatic limits on ad revenue for using explicit language.
